This is the portion of their bento box, I couldn’t believe I paid 18 bucks for it 😅 Is the soy sauce a standalone appetizer? I was only 30% full (that said, 70% hungry) after finishing this bento box set.

Quality fresh sushi at a decent price with good service on top. Even my very picky Japanese husband was impressed. We went specifically because it's the only place we could find that had kazunoko on the menu, but we were pleasantly surprised how good it was overall. Worth the 1hr 15min TTC ride to get there!

I just had dinner at Kaga and I think I have found my favourite sushi restaurant. It is by far the best that I have ever had. The miso soup is seriously out of this world and be quality of the sushi is as amazing. I would seriously recommend anyone and everyone who lives in the area to come and try this restaurant even though it can be considered pricey. Definitely one of the few 10/10s in my books, I’m definitely coming back for more.

We have not visited this restaurant together years. We surprised that they are serving very good quality of lunch bento menu. Both beef and salmon teriyaki bento are well made. Bentos are also included a hot Miso soup. The service is excellent. We will try other dishes, sushi combo later.

The ingredients here are so fresh! The food is delicious, and the service is especially friendly. They recommended sashimi that was both fresh and tasty, and also paired it with soup and a small bowl salad. The uni and eel sushi were my favorites here. The uni had a slightly sweet taste, and the grilled eel melted in my mouth on the first bite, although the sauce on top was a bit strong for me, but it was still delicious. We wanted to stay longer to try other items, but had to leave early on that night. Nonetheless, the owner was very kind and even packed some ice cream for us as we left. Highly recommended—I will definitely come back!

Surprising little place hidden away on Finch between Leslie and Bayview. Was recommended and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a whole fish to be sashimi'd, Kaga roll, and oshizushi . The roll was decent sized and very delicious. Not filled with cucumber as many other places do to fill you up. This place is so generous with their ingredients. The fish is pretty fresh not like the others with frozen or bad quality fish. The reason why I really enjoyed this place is because the owner is super nice. The staff are so welcoming even though they were overwhelmed at one point. Really took care of us even though it was our first time and not regulars. What sets the cherry on top is the dessert that was on the house. It seemed like every table gets it. Three ice cream flavors, one scoop each - that's three scoops of ice cream per person!!! That's unheard of!!! You'd have to go to ayce eat to get that. Thank you for being an amazing owner/manager. And thank you for running an amazing business for us to enjoy.

We've ordered their sushi tray here before. The price is decent and the sushi is fresh. We've tried ordering again in the past, but the orders always get cancelled. I guess they're busy, which is good for them. We finally decided to dine in. We ordered the following: 1. salmon set (4 pieces of salmon sushi, 4 pieces of salmon sashimi and 6 pieces of salmon maki) includes soup, salad and ice cream - $14 There was a fish scale in one of the Maki roll. 2. pork cutlet Bento box, includes soup, salad and ice cream - $10 For the amount you're getting, the price is very cheap. Overall, the place and washroom is clean. Staff are patient.
