Kabul Express has always been my first choice, and I’ve been dining here for years. What I truly appreciate is that their food quality has always remained consistent, and they haven’t raised their prices over time. Recently, they introduced a buffet with a wide variety of delicious dishes, desserts, and salads. Despite the amazing variety, it’s still incredibly affordable. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Amazing food and great value. Always great service as well. My favourite spot when I went to university in the area.

The food is very good, but it is very spicy, it has pepper. I don't eat spicy food, but my husband likes it. A combo with chicken, salad, rice, costs 16.99, but it is a lot of food.

Kabul express is our go to place whenever we need value for money food with the ‘back home’ taste we have been craving. We have tried everything from paneer tikka to chicken biryani and off lately their aloo pudi brunch and left the place feeling so full with the yummy food. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for good taste, reasonable quantity and value for money :)

Food was tasty, well packaged and fairly priced. Portions are decently large for its price. Service was great as well - the staff would ask to check in on our spice levels. Good amount of seating available if you choose to dine in. We walked in without pre-ordering, expect around a 20 minute wait as the food is made fresh to order. Will be back to try some of their other dishes!

The food tasted as good as it looked. Freshly prepared, and the aromas were amazing. The Chicken Biryani is so good. The Keema curry is delicious. The Naan is perfect. The Raita is nice and the salad is fresh. The Afghan style sweet Biryani is unique but not for everyone's palette. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Good value for money.

Not real Afghan food! I used to go here quite often during 2015-2019, I came again in 2024 and the owner has changed and is now Pakistani and changed up the menu a LOT. There is now more Pakistani items on the menu than Afghani dishes. That was the first alarming issue. My family order our food (from the Afghani side of the menu) and the only thing fresh item that arrived was the naan. The rice seemed to be heated up and cooked a day before, it had big clumps stuck together. The chicken was way over cooked (check pictures). The salad was very dry, as if it was cut up another day and stored in the fridge, not fresh at all! This is not a genuine Afghan restaurant, and is using the previous owners business in bad taste. Since there is no other locations, it's best that they rebrand so it's not misleading. Just because you have Afghani items on the menu doesn't make it an Afghani restaurant if you can't prepare it the way Afghan expected, yet the owner had the audacity to say that they disagree and think everything is fine. Look at other reviews as well and you'll see others feel the same way. Final thoughts: This has nothing to do with them including Pakistani items to their menu, but rather the the misleading restaurant name "Kabul Express" and the poor quality of the Afghani dishes served. Want Afghani food? You're better off looking elsewhere, don't waste your money here 👍
