My wife and I weren’t sure what to order, but Babu was so helpful with recommendations and made our order according to each of our spice tolerances. Really delicious homemade food. Parotta was so hot and fresh. Will definitely be back.

Me and my wife recently visited Kaayal Eats and I had an unexpectedly delightful experience! I tried a unique combination of medu vada with chicken curry, and it turned out to be much better than I anticipated. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the crispy medu vada complementing the rich and savory chicken curry in the best way possible. The location is situated inside the lebovic food court, and the owner, a sweet gentleman, personally came over to check how we liked the food, which added a lovely personal touch to the dining experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore authentic South Indian cuisine with a twist! I’m going back there for sure….

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great food that’s all freshly made! So be prepared to wait 7-10 minutes, but it’s worth it for the authentic taste. Friendly service and really nice people. The food is flavorful with just the right spice, and the prices are very reasonable and cheap. It tastes just like the food I enjoyed in Tamil Nadu. Highly recommend! Got my parents seal of approval as they loved it and will be back again!

It is with great pleasure i am writing this review. If you are looking for homely cooked South Indian food this is the place to visit. We have NO HESITATION in recommending "Kaayal Eats" for quality and tasty south indian dishes. We have enjoyed wide varieties of food here: Thali (Veg & non-veg), dosa, Idly, kothu (a house special),chicken 65 custom order Fish curry and Prawns Masala and many more...Every item made with highest quality and no words to describe the taste ..just mouth watering ... Babu anna's (the owner) passion towards cooking is amazing and to us he is treating every order as he would prepare for his family ... We wish "Kaayal Eats" nothing but the best and hope it will reach greater heights .. Kudos to Babu Anna's team too for treating us with quality and tasty food.

Who would guess that this stall nestled in the corner of a food court in a busy plaza would churn out homely South Indian cuisine from its seemingly small kitchen. Helmed by Babu, a gentleman with many years of experience in the culinary industry, I first went with his recommendations on trying out their Medu Vada with chicken curry, which seems to be a favourite from his native hometown in Tamil Nadu. Crispy medu vadas topped with flavourful chicken gravy that seemed unique, I knew I started off with a very generous portion of an appetiser plate that was value for money given its serving size. To give in to my cravings, I got myself an egg Biryani for the main course which once again was served in a seizable portion that could be shared between 2 people. Biryani rice may look dry but do not get deceived by its looks as each grain was packed with the peppery flavours, as per what one would expect from a Tamil styled Biryani. With the GTA seeming to be flooded more so with Sri Lankan Tamil cuisine as opposed to South Indian Tamil eateries that are not gentrified nor big chains, Kaayal Eats has now turned to my late afternoon/night spot for any South Indian grub. Up next on my list is to try their Dosas and Parottas, especially the latter which excites me most as a Singaporean, given that both Babu and one of his staff had lived in Singapore and they know exactly how to prepare those dishes to the liking of a Singaporean’s Roti Prata or Malaysian’s Roti Canai.

My experience at Kaayal Eats was delightful. I tried their Chicken Kothu Paratha and Chicken Ghee Rice combo, and it was a treat for the taste buds. The Chicken Kothu Paratha had the perfect blend of spices and textures, while the Chicken Ghee Rice was rich and flavorful. The service was prompt, and the ambiance was pleasant. I would definitely recommend Kaayal Eats to anyone looking for authentic and delicious South Indian cuisine.

Visited for the soft launch and loved the food. Mutton Kothu and Mutton fry in the combo was exceptional . Portions are great for the price and parotta was authentic South Indian street style. Daalcha tasted great as well.
