Jules Bistro

Good restaurant to go to have great conversation. Love ambiance’s like Jules Bistro! You are not overwhelmed by useless music you can actually have meaningful conversation with the ones you go with. The food was good and did what it had to do, the price is more than reasonable if you take the set menu, I wish we had more restaurant like this one in the city, I recommend! It is always super busy so make your reservations before going!

The ambience was really nice. Servers were extremely friendly and provided some great recommendations starting with the appetizers to the main course and desserts, including the wine. The onion soup could have been a bit more cheesier as my friends suggested. They enjoyed the medium rare steak. The chicken was delicious along with the desserts (creme brûlée and the chocolate). Definitely recommend for a French bistro!

Cute little French bistro with all the French classics. Our party of 3 left completely stuffed on a Tuesday night having shared the half-priced Cote de Boeuf, Burrata special, Onion Soup, and Salmon Tartare. Make sure you reserve a table if you plan to come on a Tuesday. Service was wonderful.

Tuesday special Half price on steak frites! The steak was cooked to perfection, which we ordered med rare. Steak came on an generous portion of fries which were perfectly seasoned. We also ordered a side of peppercorn gravy which was not needed as the steak seasoning was already enough. The cesar salad which also came on the platter wasn't the best. We also tried their french onion soup as this is a french restaurant. The soup came out very hot, causing the cheese to all sink to the bottom of the bowl and melted to the bottom. Overall, the soup was amazing despite we having to scrape the bottom of the dish. I would come back to try the rest of their items in due time.

Tuesday night, you and a friend can come down here for a ribeye feast for an amazing value, and I can assure you that you won't be the only one indulging in this delicious deal. A 24oz bone-in ribeye is cooked to a perfect medium rare temp with a deep, smoky sear and beautiful marbling that oozes out the juice with each bite. On the side comes with good fries to fill your bellies, and a salad dressed with olive oil because... health I guess? The escargots were also served in a creamy mushroom soup and surprisingly tender, while the beef tartare was a soft, well-balanced bite with toasted baguette slices.

Have been here many times throughout the years, one of my favourite dinner spots. Ambiance is beautiful at night, portions are decent and staff is always very friendly and attentive. Food is consistently delicious and decent quality for its price point. They have a 50% off deal for their Cote de Beouf (steak and fries) on Tuesdays, but even without the deal still definitely worth a visit!

Came here during their Tues Special for their Cote De Boeuf and I have to say it was amazing. This cozy restaurant has an open kitchen and you can smell the amazing aroma as they cook it. Mouth watering before it is even served, also cooked perfectly! And don't forget to say yes to their peppercorn sauce, it elevated the steak to a whole other level (meat heaven). Make sure to plan ahead and make reservations!

This restaurant is a must go! Went on a date night for the prix fixe for two menu and have zero complaints. The escargot was delicious, the steak frites was tender and cooked to perfection, and the desserts were creamy and balanced. The service staff was attentive without being pushy and paced the meal expertly. Definitely coming back with friends or even just by myself for the prix fixe for one.
