Making an effort to try new places for my weekly 🐷 meal. Found myself in the area randomly and popped in. JP is an interesting guy. He let me sample a few things, then I went with the meats lovers pita. Was good, and filling.

Just came off a very long 13hr shift starving and wanted some good food for a good price and was recommend JP's Pita. The atmosphere inside was warm and enjoyable and the owner making my pita was lively and funny and had so much character while I chose my ingredients. I got the Chicken Pita and the chicken was admittedly a little dry, however the many other ingredients were fresh, creative, and delicious, and he was very generous with his homemade tzatsiki sauce which was delicious and full of flavor along with everything else! The pita was very large and absolutely satisfied my intense hunger after a long day of physical labor!

Oh boy was the donair good!! JP was so sweet and kind, food was absolutely amazing and it was huge! So full! Can't wait to go back.

While browsing Facebook I came across a short video on this great Pita and Donair place in...Bowmanville? So we decided to venture out and see what the hype was all about. It's been ages since we've had donairs and all I can say is Oh boy that was delicious! We had donairs the size of a small child! JP is not only personable but an amazing creator... you can tell he genuinely cares about his business and customers. Fresh ingredients, tasty sauces and a great experience all around. Go hungry and leave very full and very happy. We can't wait to go back!

If I could give more stars I would! JP was phenomenal, food was absolutely amazing, so delicious and fresh. It was a real hidden gem, the decor was awesome. It was definitely worth the drive! The price was very reasonable for the portion size! The meats were so delicious it was hard to choose, and the homemade tzatziki sauce was incredible! Thanks JP!

A decent spot to get a pita in town. JP is open every day until 10 PM which is fantastic. Over the years the food has gone down in its quality, but still not the worst for Bowmanville. Pitas are insanely big and cost $22 which seems to be in the rough ballpark of other places. A very interesting restaurant covered in photos of JP and his customers, he also has trading cards available and T-shirts

Excellent food. Fresh ingredients and fast service. I had the Donair Pita and it was delicious and very large! We were given 3 meats to sample before we even ordered, and he gave us free fries as well. Highly recommended!

My first experience at Jp's and this 70 year old man runs the show like a machine. Clean, fresh food, good healthy options and good portions! Chicken, beef and pork optional for the pita! Definitely a return visit required.
