Jollibee

I have time say that I am like the food here and wish we had this chain in Montréal Québec. Tired of having KFC dominate the fried chicken scene for so long. I am going road say something that is controversial but I really hope fried chicken places do NOT go halal only. Please give the option to the client. There is a clear difference between halal and non halal. I like that jollibee is non halal and I can taste the difference. Everything tasted great and I really hope they bring this to Montréal. Next time I'll give it a dine-in review so the food is hot.

The spicy fried chicken is amazing and it lived up to my expectations. Only thing is the thighs are trimmed off big time which means you would get smaller thighs with the upper joint area cut off by a big margin, it could be the same for all or most of the franchise locations. I want a full thigh cut for the premium price charged. Apart from that, the chickens are well marinated, the mashed potato is superb, the fries are almost like McDonald's fries and the gravy is one of the best due to the balanced flavor.

A Filipino chain restaurant, featuring fried chicken, burger & spaghetti, the fried chicken only have thighs & drum-sticks, ordered take-out of chicken, mashed potatoes and peach-mango pie, the pies had a combo packaged deal of $20 for 6 pies, but after we got home, we found only 4 pies in the package, complained via the feedback QR code on the bill, they investigated and offered free 2 regular sides +1 drink for our next visit.

We had bacon and cheese chicken sandwich the thing is it tastes like burnt chicken and we also had cheesy yumburger and it has something in it, like bone (you can see on the attached photo). Also the sauce of the spaghetti tastes like different than usual. I don’t know maybe because we went there at night (closing time), regardless of the time, everything, most specially the taste should be the same.

Attention to customer who get their food delivered. Please check your food before eating because I had an unpleasant nauseating experience. We ordered the bucket. we felt something was not great with the chicken because after eating we felt nauseated. Today, I found a strand of hair wrapped and dangling on a chicken. Manager, please ensure that this doesn’t happen again as you know nobody likes a hair strand on their food. I have lost my appetite , and I do understand accidents happen but please have hygiene in place. Thank you You requested to contact us, and I don't find the Jollibee stores name list for Scarborough area. My concern is hygiene only.

Food was good. Ordered the 2 combo chicken sandwiches and a 6 pc bucket of half original and half spicy. The chicken pieces came with a gravy (I felt it was watered down as there was zero thickness to the gravy) pretty clean and decent, bathroom (mens) was disheveled, I walked in and the baby board was unlocked and spread opened, typical mess as expected I. A fast food joint. Decent experience, probably won't be able to try again as it's pretty far from where I reside.

First time to try Jollibee on Kennedy location. Spacious and clean. Excellent customer service. The server took his time to explain the menu to us. We were taking our Filipino clients to have their favorite Fried chicken lunch. We had a party of 8 adults & 4 kids. I didn’t remember how much food I ordered but the bill was close to $300. The mango peach pie was pretty good but the crispy fried chickens and mashed potatoes were just ok. The spaghetti with hot dog slices and sweet tomato sauce tasted somewhat funny. Maybe we used to the other brands of fried chicken and Italian style pasta sauce. Overall experience was ok but the price was in high side for fast food fried chicken place.

Tried Jollibee for the first time as I wanted to see what’s special about their chicken sandwiches. I ordered the Original chicken sandwich meal (that included a fries and the pineapple juice) along with a Spicy chicken sandwich. I am not sure what the issue was with my order but it took surprisingly very long. When I asked about it, the manager told me to wait for another 6 more minutes. I was expecting him to apologize at least but he just asked me to wait until my order was ready. I could see other customers who came after me getting their big orders. Finally, the order was ready and I was quite hungry. My spicy chicken sandwich had lettuce and tomato in it and it looked good but the sandwich overall didn’t taste as great as the chicken sandwiches at the other fast food restaurants. I felt that the chicken wasn’t perfectly fried but it was fine. The pineapple juice tasted just like real pineapple but was diluted with lot of ice. The fries were not hot and did not have the salt as well. The chicken piece was big but the sandwich was pricy compared to other restaurants offering the same meals. They have lots of other food options and the ambience was nice too but I am not sure when I would try them again!
