In response to Kim (aka Karen’s) comment. You say you saw the faces at our table and profound language was used. Maybe if the manager didn’t storm over causing a scene and ran into the kitchen calling his customers words I will not post on google review, the customer wouldn’t be getting upset at the staff. Hope next time you sit at a restaurant and this happens you reconsider getting involved before you know the whole story.

Over the past few years I’ve heard wonderful things about joyia . My Daughter was turning 21 and wanted to celebrate her birthday with her family. I made reservations for. We all had a wonderful meal. The service was excellent. As we were finishing up our lovely dinner all we could hear is someone behind us becoming more and more angry with the staff . He was using profanity towards the staff. It made us feel uncomfortable and im sure others in the restaurant felt lithe same . Maybe I should have not interjected my feelings. Maybe the man should have gone somewhere else private to discuss his matter privately and not feel the need to make everyone in the restaurant feel uncomfortable. “ normally I’m not. A Karen” but I couldn’t sit there anymore and listen to you . I saw the faces at your table and i felt sorry for them .

It was a long wait for our food just for it to taste cold and ok. Someone at my table got a long hair in their food and 2 people at my table found like a piece of wooden spoon in their food. The staff was nice though

Food was outstanding! Great Service! Jamie Day was super nice and did not eat all my food. Jamie Day should get paid more and definitely Promoted! Parking was smooth, took me a minute to find the tricycle parking though.

Established in ‘97 this Aurora restaurant continues to create delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Their hand tossed, wood fired pizza is a must try along with their homemade pasta cooked to a perfect al dente. With a welcoming staff and nice ambiance there’s no doubt I’ll be back.

Received the wrong order which was burnt, they offered replacements which I drove back to pick up and returned my wrong order. The replacement pizzas were the correct order but raw this time. When asked if they can cook it more the answer was it’s gonna get cheese all over the oven. Very disappointing

Overall the food was delicious, authentic, and cozy environment. However, me and my 7 girlfriends felt intimidated by the old waiter tha was serving us last night. We felt like we were being discriminated just because we are a group of Asia. Yesterday was a snowy Sunday night and the restaurant wasn't busy, and yet our server always look and starred at us without any smile and rush us through out the entire meal. The other younger waiter and waitresss seems perfectly friendly, we just felt totally upset about our overall experiences last night, and we couldn't find the store manager to express our stress during dinner before we left.

Great Italian resturant with up to date menu items and skilled staff. Up beat vibe while still feeling classy inside. Food is delicious and the pizza made in a wood fired oven. Prices are also reasonable and location right off of Yonge street. Highly recommend if you haven’t been.
