This was recommended to us for lunch, and I’m so glad we went! You can’t beat the Jerk Chicken Sandwich! That was super tasty. The BBQ Sandwich was also pretty good, and the Barbadian Mac & Cheese is a must. I also got the Jerk Chicken Grilled Cheese, But preferred the Sandwich because of that awesome coleslaw. I didn’t have the patties nor the roti but we’re trying that next!

Ordered food delivery. Saw an interesting deal. Saw the reviews ...decided to give it a try. Loved the medley of all the flavours. Tried the jerk chicken bowl. Love that they had different types of salsas: pineapple/ corn . Food was seasoned. One day, I will try the grilled cheese.

This is the first time that I tried Caribbean food and I can say that it’s so good! The staff’s were very helpful to recommend which is good depending on your preference. The quantity is reasonable for its price. Overall, I would go back in there and will recommend to my other friends.

Stopped in there for a quick bite and wasn't disappointed at all. We came in right at 11 am. The place was really clean, well-lit, very inviting and comfortable. We went for the Jerk Chicken sandwiches and decided to get a side of the JT fries. The service was friendly and quick. Both sandwiches were made on coco bread. While the coco bread was seen being warmed up on the grill, it was still a bit cool when I bit into mine. However, this was a personal preference and did not take away from the experience at all. The Jerk chicken was juicy and tender, well seasoned and had a great array of flavours with the slaw on the coco. There was a pinch of heat, sweet and great textures. The portion was decent for the cost of the walk-in special (drink and sandwich under $7). We were not disappointed at all and felt this one was better than another chain down the road. The JT fries were perfect, the fires are just your standard run-of-the-mill fries, but what made these special was the seasoning on them. That seasoning added a great flavour and just took them over the top. The key to the fries was the sauce on the side, it hit so well and you taste that lime cutting through with the seasoning on the fries, perfect. We watched a few others come in for the bowls, it wasn't very busy at the time, but we came right at open when they were still prepping. The menu is pretty straightforward and simple, but great options and customization are available based on what you order. Overall this was a great little spot to visit, highly recommend it. Seeing some of the very very few negative reviews, I don't know what they would expect, but Joeys IS doing it right for a quick-service island grill. We will certainly be back.

I went there for lunch and got the curry goat island bowl, which was pretty much fully loaded, and I was impressed. The goat was ultra tender, the flavors were really good, the portion was big, and i dont say that often. The island sauce topped it off really nice. I'm definitely gonna go back and try the sandwiches and roti's. I recommend you do as well

The food is delicious at JT Island Grill! I had a jerk chicken bowl with coconut rice and all the toppings minus corn (which looked good, but I just don't eat corn, Caribbean Aoili and Hot sauce. I will be back for more!

Got the Oxtail Bowl based on other reviews. My go to is usually Jerk chicken anywhere I go. Oxtail was not bad. Definitely recommend getting the sauces on top of the bowl vs on the side to take. You definitely get more if you get it with your bowl. The Caribbean sauce they recommended tasted really good. The grilled cheese was good. Would be nice if it came with a sauce on the side to dip into. Definitely tasted healthy and portion size is pretty good.

Food - flavourful and even with it being ready to serve, temperature was on point and portions were good as well. I really like that they have baked Mac which is what stood out and was really good. Staff - got a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival. Rico definitely demonstrated great hospitality and everyone was very attentive :) Atmosphere - really cute and clean interior I’ll be back! Overall a great addition to the area.
