I ordered a burger, hand pressed, tough and dry. 😒 wings are warm but not hot. Japanese dumplings are ok. The best dishes are the blacken chicken and salmon...... good flavor, good texture, and good portion. The apple pie with maple walnut ice cream is very good as well. They put 8 of us in a table for 6. We need to squeeze into it, and I can't even move my legs. It is a terrible experience.

We had a great time with our family during lunch on New Years. Our server Kat was amazing. We have kids and she was attentive and accommodating to make everyone have a great experience. We can't wait to be back!

Recently visited JOEY Markville for a birthday dinner :) We were seated at one of the booths near the front of the restaurant; it was not as loud in that area as compared to being further inside the restaurant. The booth was spacious and could easily accommodate 5-6 people. I really enjoyed my Red Sangria and Ahi Tuna Burger. The 'meat' was nice and thick, and you can upgrade your side of fries to sweet potato fries. The appetizers we shared were also delicious, though I didn't realize how SPICY the chicken wings were🥵 lol. Overall, it was a great experience! Our server checked on us from time to time and made sure we were doing fine. The restaurant was also able to accommodate cake cutting and providing us with extra plates and utensils as well.

JOEY Markville exceeded all my expectations! I ordered the sushi cone, poke bowl, dumplings, and ravioli, and every dish was exceptional. It was my first time trying a poke bowl, and though I was initially skeptical about the fish being frozen, it tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff truly made the experience special. Our waitress took the time to understand our preferences, adding a personal touch that made our visit feel even more memorable. My girlfriend and I dined here as a treat for my birthday, and the atmosphere made it all the more special. The ambiance was wonderful, and the friendly staff added to the positive vibe. I’d love to come back during a game night—it seems like the perfect spot for good food and great energy. If I could, I’d give JOEY Markville a 4.5-star rating. Highly recommend it and will definitely visit again (and again)!

I had the pleasure of being served by Jaimie during my recent visit, and as always, she went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. Not only does she bring a friendly, welcoming energy to the table, but she also knows how to balance professionalism with a personal touch. She made thoughtful recommendations, checked in regularly, and ensured everything was just right, all while making me feel like I was catching up with an old friend. Her positive attitude and attention to detail are truly what set her apart, and it’s always a joy to see her at work. Highly recommend her.. and the desert 🙂

Came here for lunch on the weekend. The food was good, but the cups holding our drinks were dirty. Also, the table was dirty. Just felt unclean and I was hoping we would not get sick from drinking from those cups. Also, they forgot to bring me my Coke refill. I asked for the bill, and they brought the bill and quickly left. I had credit card in hand and was ready to pay so that was awkward. Another server came by and asked if I wanted to pay by card and I said yes. Did they expect me to just leave cash for them? They did t even give me a tray or something to put the cash in. Are they trying to be sneaky? Looks like it to me. Food was good and I would have given 3.5 stars, but service is 0 stars. Will not be going back.

Have been here many times. Overall it’s very good experience. It has new modern decorations. Very spacious. It’s pleasant to sit. The food selection is good. They have unique menu that you don’t find the same dishes elsewhere. The overall service level is satisfactory. The only thing I don’t prefer is that the music is too loud. It’s had to have conversations with friends.

We had an early anniversary lunch here, and it exceeded all our expectations! We started with the yam fries, which were crispy and delicious, followed by the Spaghetti Pomodoro and Herb-Crusted Salmon—both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For dessert, the Molten Chocolate Cake was simply divine. What made the experience truly special was the manager’s thoughtful surprise: a sweet anniversary message written in raspberry jam, along with two complimentary non-alcoholic drinks. It was such a kind and personal touch that made our day unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebration and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
