JOEY Eaton Centre is a new restaurant in Toronto opened more than 6 months ago.
Like most of JOEY management, CEO Jeff Fuller started his remarkable journey flipping burgers, washing dishes and sweeping floors. It’s called paying your dues, learning from the ground up and understanding what success takes. “If there’s a secret,” he says, “it’s hard work, unwavering commitment to the customer and assembling the very best people.” Jeff absorbed valuable lessons from his family’s successful businesses before striking out on his own with a brand new concept in upscale casual restaurants. The first JOEY opened in 1992 and, as word spread, plans for a second location were quickly in the works. Today there are 27 JOEY Restaurants across Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Seattle and California.

Kai was such a brilliant server. Her recommendations were spot on. The food was so delicious, everything was perfectly seasoned and prepared with such care. We didn’t have to wait long for our food either. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so nice and fancy. This was the best restaurant service I’ve had in a long time. I am so amazed. The worst fish tacos I’ve ever had in a restaurant, filled with iceberg lettuce, and topped with radish slices?! Barely any fish inside two measly tacos priced at $22.50. Ridiculous $13 tiny, tiny kids portion of spaghetti (my child was still hungry after and we had to get takeout from elsewhere). Distracted service (by a not very friendly main server) kept forgetting to bring things we asked for, including my beverage. Very cold sitting in what is usually the completely glassed in patio area on a freezing winter night. Overpriced, overhyped mediocre food.

It was our first time to eat at Joey’s Restaurant and the experience was great. Our server was not giving at all. He wasn’t even filling up our water, didn’t give us cutlery when our salad was served and took time to check up on us. We had to ask for side plates when I mentioned already from the start that the dish is for sharing. However, things turned around thanks to Joy Donal, she made our dining experience better! Definitely appreciate the complimentary bubbly! She would check up on us from time to time and would call our server for us! The food is worth its price.

Great ambiance, great food, great service! Our server Maya was so sweet and attentive - she had a smile on her face all the way and had such great energy! The food was so good too - we loved the blackened chicken and steak! Love all Joeys and always have a great meal!

Happy hour is where it’s at! So much to try and slightly cheaper than the regular menu! Food was delicious, severed hot, portions were generous and good value. Peach Bellini was delicious and not too over powering either way, fruity or too much alcohol.

Terrific food, atmosphere and service. It is truly a wonderful sports bar/restaurant with an upscale feel. The hummus appetizer was one of the best tasting hummus dishes that I ever had. Also, the bourbon ice tea cocktail was delicious. My server, Bhailee, was a superstar! She was helpful, personable and professional. I truly enjoyed this place and would definitely return!

Savannah was awesome. Pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful and just lovely to deal with. The whole party was in the hospitality industry (do can be a bit particular) and she went above and beyond. Food was amazing we ate from the happy hour menu. One of our favourite places in Toronto

This was our first time at JOEYs and it was truly a delightful experience! Had a fantastic brunch at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing meal. Our waitress, Victoria, made the experience even better—she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Service was top-notch all around. Highly recommend this place, especially if you get Victoria as your server! We’ll definitely be back.
