A friend brought me here. Delicious soup, very affordable, good service, overall a great deal.

Love this place! Used to come very frequently when working in the area. Haven’t been in a while and glad to report still as delicious and consistent as always. I usually get the kimchi tofu stew in pork broth.

Located at the food court of Galleria Supermarket, this place makes a good gamjatang or pork bone soup. The pork is very tender, and the spices give the soup a little kick. The portion size is also good, It can be shared by two people. Prices here are also affordable. The food court is busy during lunch time, so if you come during lunch, expect to wait for vacant seats.

I tried the spicy bean sprouts soup and it came out piping hot, which was great! The portions are substantial. But the flavour was severely lacking. Granted it was the end of the day, but it almost seemed like the broth was watered down. There were also burnt tips on a few of the bean sprouts. Service was great though. Very smooth transaction.

Used to be a go-to Korean food place, not anymore. This food place served great food not long before lockdown.. Not sure if the decrease in food quality is caused by Covid, but we used to always eat here after shopping at the supermarket section of Galleria. Our soups (especially the Korean Pork bone soup), was only served with the pork and bones, with no potatoes or vegetables that would normally be in the famous dish. However, the service is absolutely fine and the worker was nice as well. Not sure if this is a one-time problem, but it needs to be solved.

Not the best pork stew (hot pot) but price is good. I prefer the other one in First Markham food court.

Located inside galleria...the service is quick. Similar to a fast food/take out counter...you have to find a spot to sit at (food court style). The food comes with 3 sides and piping hot. They advertise as no msg and the food itself is plentiful and tasty. They also have a call number that pops up at the top of their restaurant to call you up when your food is ready. Food is served with purple rice.

Jin Mee is a good place for lunch if you work around the Yonge/Steeles area. It is inside the food court in the Galleria supermarket. I can't say much about other dishes, because my default go-to is the pork bone soup, which they do a pretty decent job on. A year or so back before their store name changed, the pork bone soup is of variable quality. One of the big no-no's for pork bone soup is the pork not being tender and there have been some not so good ones there. Ever since they have changed to "Jin Mee", I find their pork bone soup to be quite consistently good (tender and flavourful). Can't go wrong with that for under $10! There is no ambience to speak of, being in a food court and all. So I would recommend going there alone for a quick lunch only.
