It was my second time visiting here and their food and service didn’t let us down. Barsha and her service was amazing. She managed to arrange seatings for us even though the restaurant was all packed with customers. Thank you entire team for everything, will definitely visit again to satisfy our cravings for authentic nepali cuisine.

Dropped by here with some friends last week for an authentic taste of Nepali food. As a Bengali, some of the food was very similar to the food you find from the Kalimpong and Darjeeling regions of West Bengal. The thalis were delicious and you could tell they were made by excellent kitchen staff. Our server was also very helpful and kept suggesting items that she loved to eat from the menu herself, I love when a server can confidently point to items customers should try. My friends said it was their first time eating good momos in Toronto! We got the chicken steamed momos and they were elite. The chicken gizzard and the goat curry were also incredible. Will definitely revisit.

Authentic taste of Nepal right in Toronto! Every dish brought back memories of home. The veg momo jhol was amazing—one of the best I’ve had! The khasi ko masu (goat curry) had a rich, flavorful gravy that was just perfect. The chatpate was a bit too spicy for me, but still delicious. Parking is street-only, but it’s worth it for this experience. Truly felt like a slice of Nepal. Highly recommend!

Mitho Cha! (*¯︶¯*) 🍛 Malted butter oil is optionally added on top of steamed rice. Rice and sides are refillable when requested. The waitress would turn to your table and confirm. She was very friendly.

Amazing food, quantity more than a single person, we had to take it away the left over. Staffs were amazing and taking care of everything with a smile. The place is a small restaurant, most of time it was full. We had a chicken thali, a chilli chicken and a chicken jhol momo. The best was the jhol momo, pretty authentic and big size dumplings, which we couldn't finish. Chilli chicken was good and size of the chicken pieces were pretty big, we couldn't finish even half of it. Chicken thali was okay, they serve sabji and rice extra if you need. The chicken curry in that thali was pretty good. Preferred payment option is cash or debit card.

I recently visited Jimbu Himalayan Thakali Restaurant and would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. The ambiance was inviting, with a cozy, authentic vibe that I appreciated. However, the service was slower than expected, which affected the overall experience. The food was flavorful, particularly the Thakali dishes, but some lacked the seasoning punch I was hoping for. Overall, it was a good experience, but there's definitely room for improvement.

The 'Nepali Momo' Dumplings were great, I liked the beef ones better than the veggie ones | Also the 'Chowmein' Noodles with buffalo meat were delicious | The dips were super spicy, I liked the orange one a lot | Friendly staff & nice service | Calming atmosphere with the music we had that day

Good food by Chef Misaal. Very simple, yet flavours are unique. Space is limited.. But they do have another location with outdoor seating couple blocks away. It can get quite busy being a popular spot with families dropping by for weekend lunch or dinner. Barsha who's the server is very friendly and suggests great options. I like that their menu is limited which does not make it confusing and Everything on the menu is good. I love that it tastes very rustic and the spices are on point.. They've brought Nepal to TO! Will definitely be visiting again for the thali! Tip- do try the thali with the nutritious dhindo, instead of rice. Don't forget to top it up with oodles of homemade ghee :)
