The owners children. Probably 7 and 8 years old. Yelling at the top of their lung Thought I was eating in a Chucky cheese. If was honestly very unprofessional for a restauranteur. Would have given a 4 star if their kids weren’t so loud.

We went for lunch with my colleagues in Richmondhill location. I ordered the Signature Lo mien with beef, wonton and fishball. And added the veggies. The food is simple yet delicious. You have to place order in the counter and pay first and then they will prepare it. The portion is quite large and enough to make a good meal. My craving was satisfied.

This place has been here for more than 30 years, yet it's my first time at this location. We've been to the one at Scarborough, but we think this one is better. We ordered the following: 1. Signature Noodle (Wonton, Beef and Fishball) 2. Fishball and Beef rice noodle. If you dine in, everything is served with takeout containers, even the utensils. Not very environmentally friendly. Staff are nice, and friendly. Generous portion size. Would definitely return.

There’s sand in the vegetable and black spots inside the shrimp wonton dumplings. New owner and new disposable utensils and bowls. I miss having the delicious food in real bowls. Need a new replacement when we crave for HK style wonton noodles

Atmosphere was slow, no mood, quiet. No service whatsoever. Wontons were big but tasted bland. Broth were bland and those in house made chili oils didn’t help much. Verdict, I won’t return.

This was the OG location when I was a kid, offering tasty shrimp wontons that you can see! You can literally see entire shrimps when you take a bite. Everything made fresh to order, they give you a good amount of hand made fish balls (2), a couple wonton and the noodles. Their chilli / xo sauce is straight fire. Can't get enough of it and you can also take home a jar for $20. Highly recommend the A1 Shrimp Wonton, beef and fishball. Parking is a tad hard to find at times but they do have a couple their own reserved spots for their own customers Over the years they have evolved from a service restaurant to a self serve one, which is perfectly fine and works well. You go to the counter, order your food and they'll announce when it's ready and you pick it up, find a table, enjoy your meal and then dump your garbage and leave.

This is where the local will eat ! Hong Kong Cantonese food. It is a very traditional hong kong restaurant setting, a bit noisy with canton speaking. The food is so yummy, the dumplings is large and the meat and prawns filling is really fresh. Good portion. The noodles, porridge taste so good to me. and the shellfish goes so well with the porridge.

How to order your food? This eatery is like a food court. You grab a table first then head to the back left. The order counter is located there to place your order. Give them your name. Pay your food with cash. Mostly everything on the menu is $12, taxes included. After paying, head to the back right hand side of this eatery to grab your cup of hot water before you head back to your seat. Wait for them to call your name. Everything is served in disposable containers and cutleries. If you need to pack anything to go, just request for the matching container cover and plastic shopping bag. Enjoy your food. Before you go, don’t forget to throw away your garbage. It’s located near the hot water area. It was always setup like this since it opened, but the order taking area/cash register now occupies a good portion of the dining hall floor space. So it gets filled up quickly during peak periods. Chilli oil alert: It’s spicy, but nice. COMPARISON: Just remember the Richmond Hill location is distinct from their Scarborough location. Richmond Hill is self served, while Scarborough (newer) is fully served, except when it’s time to pay the bill. You get hot water here, and tea in Scarborough. Veggie plate here is more than double the size than in Scarborough. Both kitchens are viewable from the sitting area.
