Jet Cafe

I wrote this review not to shame but because it’s my duty as a customer. Let me first say I’ve been eating at this restaurant for going on 2 years with zero complaints. Foods good, service is good and general atmosphere is good. Today I was eating there and I noticed a cockroach crawling down the wall. 1 min later it started crawling towards my plate and I immediately crushed it with my napkin. I hope this review is read by the owner and proceeds to take immediate action. Also I apologize if I’m overreacting but I go here all the time and want to return (with no pests).

Jet Cafe Saved Us During Covid19. They were one of the few places up and running for Delivery and we ordered a LOT! We even got deliveries to our office regularly when we went back. The Food is always Honest, HomeCooked Comfort Food. Filling Portions. Tasty. Hot. Even when Delivered. They also know how to package their food for delivery. Nothing ever falls apart or spilled. Eating in is more ‘Hole-In-The-Wall’ then Breakfast Bistro. Decor / Ambiance is an old throwback to the 80s. They have too many rugs on the floor but because the flooring is uneven it’s more for safety between the grade difference. Jet could be cleaner. But you don’t come here for the Ambiance. You come for the food. The Staff is Great. Welcoming. Smiles and Efficient Service. If you’re on a walk and haven’t had a yummy breakfast or lunch yet, then this is the place. Recommend!

This place is the type of place I think of when describing a locally owned dinner, it isn't fancy, it isn't done up like a hipster restaurant, it's a place you go to by yourself or with your family for affordable good food with good service and friendly people. I got the 7.99 special, Total came to $8.50 with taxes, it included 2 eggs 2 slices of rye bread 3 sausages and a massive portion of home fries that were perfectly cooked The tables are also cleaned after each customer leaves

Good food, good prices, large portions, what more could you want? Slighty awkward to get in with a wheelchair, but considering the age of the building its more than acceptable.

Old school diner vibes so prepare for time travel (order at the front then they bring you the food), but you can’t beat the prices and quantity of food you get. Taste like good home cooking which you can’t beat.

This place was 12 hours from where we live. I wish it was in out town. Finally a restaurant that knows how to cook fried potatoes with just the right crispness and season salt. The peameal bacon was cut just the right thickness so it wasn't dry. I really enjoyed my breakfast immensely

I haven't had a good restaurant breakfast in a while. Good job Jet Cafe! You exceeded any expectations of mine. I will eat here again and I recommend you to all who are looking for a surprisingly excellent breakfast.

The staff was affable enough yet disorganized. I waited over 45 minutes for a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries and toast. My breakfast was 80% inedible. The toast was burnt, the bacon was day old as were the home fries. The eggs, as probably the only item cooked to order were okay. Additionally, as the long line lagged, "Skip The Dishes" orders were more promptly completed one after another and took precedence over patrons in the restaurant. Unfortunately, this was a frustration felt by all the customers waiting in line. Moreover, there was no air-conditioning and a door was wide open letting in flying insects. The kitchen seemed unsanitary as well. There was debris and garbage directly beside the pickup area. Not exactly the most appetizing arrangement. I would urge Jet Cafe to organize themselves in a more cohesive manner, commence a deep clean and try harder in the future.
