I have worked in the area going on 35 years and have supported small businesses in my area whenever possible. I have been a regular lunchtime customer since the 90's. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and a Hello! by staff. The new owners Sammy, Moe and Mona from day one have always accommodated my dietary needs. When I told Moe if it was possible to make up a batch of Salad Dressing with Extra Virgin Olive Oil he promptly got on the phone with a family member and had them pick up a bottle. To my knowledge they have been using Olive Oil whenever possible in most of their dishes. The food is amazing and my go to lunch is the grilled chicken breast with a modified Greek Salad with the home made Beats. There is no other food in the area that even comes close. As a small business owner myself, I am always amazed how many people take the time to write a negative review but it seems that most people who have a positive experience do not take the time. Please help your favourite small businesses by taking the time to write a positive review when you experience it. We are all going through difficult financial times where a kind word goes a long way and costs you nothing to do but a little bit of your time. To the Staff at Jessie's I will be seeing later for Lunch :-)

I was introduced to this wonderful eatery last week. I wanted the Club sandwich but unfortunately they had just ran out of Turkey (roasted turkey not this slices) so I had a smoked meat sandwich and Greek salad which was delicious. I went back again today and I made sure that I was early enough to get the Club. I had this sandwich with a fresh garden salad and a side of beets. This was the best Club sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The young lady who made my meal was amazing. And Sam knows what he is doing. The food, staff and overall experience was outstanding. I will put this at the top of my list for lunches. Thank you

Quality food and genuine service. Customized my meal without any fuss. The meat here is also halal. Glad I found this spot close to my workplace. Also the flags and the support is a major bonus!

If I could wake up to this everyday I would! How could you choose a fast food "breakfast" OVER THIS Service is very friendly and warm The food was quick and delicious and very well priced Absolute hidden gem!

I ordered the veggie breakfast sandwich. I did have to call because I couldn’t order any sides and had no idea what was on it. The man on the phone was super nice and explained everything and said he thinks they come with side potatoes and if not he will include them in for me! Super nice. Only thing I’d change is add some spinach in the sandwich and it’s perfect! I’ll probably order again. I really do wish I had more options to order sides or even a coffee or tea on Uber eats though and not just water or pop. Either way I’d recommend especially if you’re a vegetarian like me!

First time trying this sandwich shop. Came highly recommended, and accompanied the recommender. I had a club on rye, toasted, with cheddar, mayo, and honey mustard. Thick sliced cooked ham like mom used to make, with massive chunks of turkey, carved from a breast, also like mom used to make, and topped with smokey bacon. The flavours of the various meats came through, despite the toppings and sauces. I found the coleslaw a little salt-less, thinking that some salt would have added something. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the cabbage flavour came through, but I felt it needed something, maybe salt, or maybe a wee bit of sweetness, yes some sugar or something. Bottom line, was a great lunch and I am already thinking of the next visit and which way to go, sandwich wise. I am thinking egg salad, hopefully like mom used to make.

Ordered the pork plate special of the day and the chicken breast plate. A little on the expensive side but Big portions, and fresh and yummy food. Interior was nice and comfy. Staff was friendly. Would like to come back and try their sandwiches.

Wonderful little spot on Matheson. The food here is top notch with a wide assortment of hot and cold sandwiches and freshly prepared sides. The service is what really sets this place apart. Sam is a wonderful host along with the Polish woman who's name I didn't catch. It's very easy to tell everyone working here takes pride in making sure their customers are satisfied. If you get a chance to stop here it's an absolute must for lunch.
