Awesome! Smiles through the kitchen everytime I walked in. I wish the burrito had more meat options than chicken though 🥲. Also spice level options. Overall 9/10. The chocolate & coconut cookie is a solid 10. It’s like bounty in a cookie… but better 🫶🏾

Tried this truck out at a food truck festival over at Mel Lastman Square on Canada Day weekend. They definitely had some interesting items on the menu but most of the interesting ones were sold out like the irie burger (jerk chicken, coleslaw and plantains sandwiched b/w two jamaican patties. I was deciding between oxtail and jerk chicken and settled on jerk chicken cuz oxtail is kinda messy to eat when you're just standing and walking at a festival (you really gotta use your hands to suck on the bones). As far as my order goes, the chicken was juicy, flavourful and SO tender. The rice was also very flavourful and not dry as well. The coleslaw that was pictured on the menu and supposed to come with my box did not come in my box. They literally put raw lettuce in and called it a day (see photo). No apology or notice to me that they had run out or anything. Literally just put raw lettuce in my box with no dressing. I would have been able to let the undressed veggies go if they had given me a decent amount of protein but the amount of chicken was unfortunately quite stingy as well and ESPECIALLY at $16 for a box? I felt slightly robbed if I'm being honest. I'm looking at some of these other reviews and it seems like the play is to order from the brick and mortar restaurants cuz they are giving WAYYYY larger portions (you get an actual takeout box and way more meat). Maybe I'll try visiting a brick and mortar location next time.

Absolutely a delicious place! I got a chance to try Halal Jerk chicken after traveling Jamaica for over 10 days, luckily there is a halal jerk chicken spot here! The jerk burrito was fresh, tasty and flavorful. It was jam packed with meat and I truly did enjoy it to the max. Tristan was such an incredible person, speaking to him and learning more about Jamaican culture and cuisine was a true pleasure. Looking forward to coming back here to try out the Jamaican patties!

Incredible jerk chicken poutine from their food truck. The gravy has deep flavor, the chicken is incredibly seasoned and cooked, the cheese curds have great texture, and the fries hold up to it all. 1000/10 recommend

First time trying takeout, order was correct and the bag was personalized (very cute). We got 2 large jerk chicken meals, 1 oxtail meal and 2 beef Patties which was more than enough food for 4 people. Jerk chicken was tasty but I would have liked some sauce and a little bit more spice, good quantity of chicken per meal. Oxtail was delicious and tender, but felt like a small quantity for the meal. The rice and peas in both meals were exceptional, I’m obsessedd and there was coleslaw in both which was decent (appreciate it being in its own little container so it didn’t make the rice soggy). Patties were flaky and a good size but filling was average tasting, again would’ve liked if a spicy option was available. Overall really enjoyed the meal and will be returning.

The oxtail was fall of the bone, but it could be more flavorful. It was also a bit more pricier than other places. The festival was a bit chewy. It tasted more closer to fried dumpling. The jerk chicken could be more flavorful. There was only one person inside and had to wait for the food a little while. It is not really worth the drive.

ahhh, yes!! This place hits the spot in so many ways You get a decent size and this is the first time I've seen jerk chicken served this way, whole drumsticks!! Other places serve them already cut up and sometimes depending on luck of draw you get some meaty pieces but most times its mostly bones I'm sucking on. Flavours are sooo good here too, we ordered 2 to go and ate it outside because we couldn't resist the smell then went in and ordered 2 more for friends we knew that would enjoy it unfortunately they won't get to taste it as fresh as we did but I'm sure it'll still be amazing. Service was superb, she was super friendly ❤️ There's another business inside this place that looks worth trying on another visit There's some seats inside and outside Good place to save

Picked up an Irie Burger for lunch and holy this thing is as glorious as described. Even when I went to go pick it up I was just so happy seeing the employee piling a niceeeee amount of jerk chicken on it. The flavour though is fantastic and that sweet fried plantain really comes through in every bite. I highly recommend this restaurant can’t wait to come back for a jerk chicken dinner and a jerk burrito sometime soon!! 🙏🏽❤️
