Went for some chicken pad thai at lunch. Definitely did not disappoint. Great quality food, wonderful portion size and amazing service. I'd definitely come back.

When it comes to attention to detail, this establishment puts all their competitors to shame. Just take a look at that Mango Sticky Rice, they surrounded the tri-color rice balls with mango slices into the shape of a heart! What a cute way to close out a meal. And if you take a closer look at the rice in the 2nd picture, they used a mold to shape the rice into a Christmas tree! The Eggplant Boat was merely a lunch special. Who puts so much attention to detail for lunch specials? Jatujak does! The Eggplant Boat is a new item on their lunch special. The flavor of the dish was rather light for me though. I am someone who loves to order braised eggplant casseroles whenever I sit down at a Chinese restaurant, so I'm used to eggplant served in thick and heavy sauces. The sauce that floated the Eggplant Boat was much more bland and watery in comparison. Adding $7.50 to make it a combo was a great decision as it included Thai ice tea, spring roll and a side salad.

The food here is not good and definitely not worth the price at all. Honestly, I’m surprised by the high ratings—it’s probably because they offer a free drink for leaving a good review. The only thing that tastes good is the Thai iced tea. The fried shrimp snacks taste like frozen food, the coating on the fried calamari is poorly done, and the pad kee mao doesn’t taste good either. This plate costs $26—unbelievable.

Food was great and service was amazing. The interior is very large and spacious with many tables. The khao soi was flavourful and the beef was fairly tender. The pad Thai was great, crab fried rice was flavourful. The flavours do get a bit heavy but it was a great spot for Thai food. The presentation for all the food was great as well!

I've always gone to the Jatujak on Victoria Park but lately this one on Steeles is more convenient. First time dining in, food was amazing and they were attentive, so service was great. Nice decor and atmosphere, definitely more than the other location. I love the jelly fish rattan lights. Seating is also very sufficient with lots of tables. We ordered the Pu Pad Pong Karee (soft shell crab) and a chicken Pad Thai. They were both delicious and compared to another good Thai place uptown, I think they do the Pad Thai better and overall a mild less spicier. Portions are big too. Definitely will come back and see how their Khao Soi is compared to Victoria Park location.

Good food with good portions, good ambiance, great service. Been here for lunch on a weekday and it wasn't that busy. The ambiance is elegant, compared to other outlets of Jatujak. Had a Minced Chicken Salad and Soft Shelled crabs in a gravy. The salad was quite good and was surprisingly refreshing despite having ground chicken in it. The crab curry was good, with scrambled egg like gravy with fried soft shelled crabs. I found the fried pieces a bit oily, but otherwise it was a good dish. The portion sizes are large enough that two of us could barely finish the two dishes. Iced lemon tea was par for the course. Overall, good place to grab some Thai food.

Recently visited Jatujak on Steeles Ave East and had an outstanding experience. The green curry was perfectly spiced and rich in flavor, while the mango salad (I think this is the best mango salad in Toronto!!) was refreshingly crisp with a delightful mix of textures. The Tom Yum noodle soup was both tangy and aromatic, and the basil pork was also good. Each dish was well-prepared and truly delicious. All of my friends loved them too. Highly recommend Jatujak for anyone looking for authentic and tasty Thai cuisine! Definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.
