I had the loveliest brunch with a date here. Chris was a wonderful server (who had great suggestions for visiting bookstores) and Janelle herself was a delight to meet as well. We loved the French toast! Atmosphere is second to none in here

It's like going to your best friend's living room for brunch. Janelle works behind the counter and is warm, friendly and the food is yummy. Actually drinking coffee with real cups. Little touches like a little piece of paper for your spoon after you mix your coffee. The place can be busy though so plan / call ahead! There's like 4-5 tables.

10/10! This place is simply amazing! Best Granola I’ve ever had, owner is super sweet and the atmosphere is so good. It’s like a Time Machine, the vibe, the music, the service! Wow!

We've been going to Janelle's for a couple of years now and every-time is SO GOOD. We love the cozy and homey atmosphere with Janelle cooking it up right in clear view. The delicious scents of her fresh baked bread. Everything is so fresh and made with so much love. We always get the same thing when we come in: French toast, vegan BLT with an egg and the breakfast sandwich. If you haven't tried her vegan bacon, it's a must! This is such a special place :)

It's a small but very quaint cafe that makes a great breakfast. It feels like your kitchen nook. Friendly service, quality preparation, and ingredients. Excellent Americano coffee. And just for fun, they also have their own "Southern Accents" line of hot sauces, pastes, spices, and cornbread mix.

Janelle’s Kitchen was one of the most pleasant breakfast experiences I’ve had in this city. Every dish we ordered tasted like it was made with love, especially the French toast and the crepe! The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff was so lovely and welcoming! I’m looking forward to becoming a usual visitor and trying everything on the menu!

Hands down the best french toast I've ever had. There are options for vegan and vegetarian, but no matter what you get it will be divine. It's a small place so it's a little cozy for me, but the art is incredible and the service is fantastic. Be prepared for these incredible dishes to take a little time, but it is worth the wait.

Tiny but absolutely lovely breakfast spot in the Little Italy neighborhood. The vibes are delightfully relaxing and the staff is so friendly. Food-wise, we enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and the smoked salmon & eggs. The soup we got was also amazing. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Ideally, group sizes of 1-2 would be best. A strong recommend for anyone in the neighborhood.
