To anybody that wants to try this place I highly suggest you don’t. This is the third time I’ve been there the first time the food was great. The last two times the food was no good. My rice was dry like it was dehydrated. My chicken was dry like it’s been sitting out on the counter all day. I called to speak to a manager or the owner and the gentleman on the phone told me that he was the boss and I told him that I threw my food away and he said well that sucks that your problem.. Tell him that’s not how you talk to customer as bad business and that you shouldn’t be talking to people like that. All the man had to say was “Sir, I’m sorry your food didn’t taste great and to your expectations as we strive to serve Quality food at our location for the inconvenience we will replace your food as we want to keep our customers happy and returning” Things like that is very easy. I suggest everybody that wants to try a taste of Caribbean to go to the place in Orangeville called Topville. Customer service is outstanding and the lady that runs the Is a very kind and understanding and nice. This place here in Shelburne called the jerk. Well I think it’s a bunch of jerks that work in there especially the guy that I talk to on the phone and I hope the owner sees this post and disciplines you. The worst part is I tipped the guy pretty good and he still couldn’t get my order anyways go to Orangeville if you want nice Caribbean food notch, and very high-quality food

I haven’t had authentic Jamaican cuisine in years, this was so good. I had the small jerk chicken and it tasted just like how they make in the islands. Chicken was well seasoned, juicy and delicious. The rice and beans were fantastic and the coleslaw was tasty. 10/10 highly recommend.

Food was delicious and loved that the place was very clean and welcoming. We were passing through the area and ordered a small jerk chicken and two beef patties. The food tasted great, but the actual jerk chicken was burnt, at least, in my opinion, and was very dry. That was very disappointing. I would still recommend them.

We were on a motorcycle trip and stopped in the plaza for the tim hortons and found this gem. We ordered Jerk chicken and it wad amazing, fresh and great taste. This was a quick visit so we all ordered the same stuff but I'm going there to try some more stuff on their menu. Pricecare way too reasonable

Visiting family in town and looking for interesting cuisine/foods not available in my home city, I was very excited coming across a Jamaican restaurant. Decided to try it the same evening. We ordered four dishes, two of which were BBQ chicken, one jerk chicken, and one goat curry. Each came with rice and side and we mixed it up by getting plain or rice with beans, also with coleslaw or mac salad. All of them were great. From the carbs, the sides, and the meat. All yummy!! The guy at the counter was nice too. The only downside/warning I could say is that there's no formal dine-in seating. There were bar stools/chairs and table facing the parking but that's more for a quick bite. Other than that, this place is highly recommended. You should go try it out! 😀
