From my experience, Jamaica House Jerk offers an authentic taste of Jamaican cuisine with its deliciously spicy dishes that burst with flavor. The customer service is exceptional, making every visit enjoyable. Whether you’re a fan of jerk chicken or curry goat, this restaurant is a must-try for spice lovers. Every bite reminds me of my grandma's cooking

Tried the ackee and saltfish and peanut porridge. The food was flavourful and good but two issues, peanut porridge was too thick and chunky and when you buy it with food, they give you very small portion of ackee, way too small honestly. Better if you buy it with fry dumplings that is outside the container of ackee…

I tried the oxtail with rice and peas at lunch and I must say it was pretty good. Everything was hot and fresh. Wasn't the best I ever had but still very enjoyable. $17 for a small is a bit pricey but inflation is killing everyone so can't blame small businesses owners. The portion was a reasonable size.

Went to this restaurant based on the reviews. Got the small fried chicken with rice and peas and oxtail gravy and their lunch special fried chicken, white rice and oxtail gravy (not pictured). They ran out of festivals so, I didn't get to try it. The food was delicious. The chicken had flavour and was tasty. The rice and peas was soft and not dry. Definitely will go back if I'm in the area. Only critique is there could have been more rice and peas with the order.

I purchased a large fry chicken dinner for $15 and they gave me one piece of of leg and thigh cut up. I called to ask how much chicken they give in a large meal and they had the audacity to tell me since it was a big piece of chicken I only got one... Big piece where??? My plate was filled with more rice n peas!!! People spend there hard earned money buying your food give them proper serving for what they pay for!!!

This is indeed a hidden gem in a part of Brampton. I have to give a shout out to host Jamar Mcneil on CHUM 104.5 for making me crave Jamaican food because he was talking about " Easter Bun". It instantly gave me a craving for some good Jamaican food. This restaurant is in the same plaza as my favourite Portuguese BBQ chicken restaurant. At first I could not find it, until I realized that it is located at the other end of the plaza very close to the Dog Grooming place. And I never knew that there was a dog grooming business here. I really should drive around the entire plaza one day just to make sure that I am not missing out on any other hidden gems. I called ahead to order a Large Jerk pork...but they were out....darn it....plan B....I ordered a Large Curry Chicken with Rice and Peas along with Qty#1 Fried Dumpling and Qty#1 Festival. The service was friendly and efficient. It is a bit busy, but it was nice to hear the wonderful conversations between the customers and the staff. Their happy demeanor is so refreshing and welcome. The Large portion is just that...it is HUGE. So come hungry. I have to say that this curry sauce is one of my all time favourites !!! It is such a savoury curry sauce which is mild and I just loved it period. The pieces of chicken were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. You can always taste the "Love" in this food. I find most curry dishes either a bit too overpowering on some flavours or lacking thereof. But man, this curry is fantastic. I usually eat my portions separate. For example, I will eat the rice and peas separate from the curry chicken because I really don't like my food to be all mixed up together. I know ... I know...I must have some type of OCD issues when it comes how I eat my food in such a linear fashion. But the curry sauce was so here, I just mixed all my rice and peas into the curry chicken. I couldn't get enough of that sauce !!! I will be back to try other items on their menu and to check on the consistency. Consistency is always key to any great food. So batter up and drill that stand up triple through the gap and into left field. A++ experience all the way here. Treat yourself to some Jamaican food here and let us know what your thoughts are.

The chicken was incredibly tender and moist, real fall off the bone chicken here without a single dry piece. My pieces were missing some skin, but the marinade and oxtail gravy were on point and complimented the slaw and rice and peas. My only gripe was that there wasn't enough chicken. They definitely fill the container, but it's not a large container or anything. It's always been that way though when I came here last 5 years ago. As for getting a smaller portion or a longer wait for being white, I had no such experience here. The receipts have order numbers. People in the back see the number and fill it out the same way for everybody. Yeah, the girls up front were indifferent, but they were indifferent to the other 6 non-white people too, so I don't think there's any of that kind of discrimination going on here. Just wanted to make that clear. The girls up front could be friendlier to the customers. It's like they didn't want to be there.
