Atmosphere was nice, but that was about all that was giving here. Ordered a Hawaiian pizza; and judging by the watery tomato sauce, just looked like a frozen pizza that was heated, no taste, nothing. Mac and cheese poutine was decent, but overall not justifiable for the price.

Got the Buffalo wrap but with grilled chicken. Food was really good and the other with me liked the food. The Nashville chicken sandwich was very good as well. Decently priced with an outdoor patio. Place was clean, I would come back.

Pretty good place for a meal, ordered the Swiss cheese burger. Reasonable prices and relatively big portion. Nice outside patio seating, no complaints really except the those damn bees and insects trying to eat my food.

It's a hot July evening in Markham and who wants to cook! Decided to head over to Jakes patio for a mothers/daughters dinner date. Atmosphere was relaxing considering the crowded tables. Servers were friendly and willing to assist - overall the food experience was MEH. For the WIN - 1LB chicken wings were crisp and saucy, and the fish tacos hit proper! Good ratio of protein to taco fillings. I must shout-out our server Christina for her compassion... My tall can seltzer arrived to the table in a DENTED UP can and a fly frozen in my ice cubes! I was given another can and clean glass with ice with same problem - check your ice cubes dispenser. The bigger disappointment was the Fettuccine Alfredo - literally served in a pool of olive oil with little cream and tasteless (forgot to take a picture). Will stick to the STARTER menu upon next visit...

I always go here every time I am in Unionville. The food is great and prices are very reasonable. The steak frites and pasta is always perfect. The outdoor seating is great for summer. Also they can have free parking. The tables and restaurant cleanness could be better.

The best part for me is the patio atmosphere. Especially in May when it’s not too hot and not too cold, get a light breeze and some sun, sitting outdoors with patio food. It’s fun to be outdoors and Jake’s is a good place to hang out with friends. Food wise, don’t expect too much and you won’t get disappointed. We came during the afternoon snack time and we decided to get a burger and some fried calamari. The burgers are all double patty, which is great. I had the one with the onion rings and dill pickle. It was huge and since we were splitting the burger, the server offered to have it cut in half in the kitchen, which was quite nice of them. I also had the calamari was crunchy and the squid was tender, it was cooked well.
