Loved it for our lunch. Also chilli oil given to us on side was the star, it enhanced the flavours so much. Great place and service.

Came here to try the spicy tonkatsu ramen, unfortunately extremely disappointed. The soup wasn’t really spicy, but was incredibly sour - almost as if someone dumped a bucket of Tabasco in it. I could hardly taste anything else other than the sourness in the first few bites. Once that’s over, I can taste the soup a little bit, but not really enough to give detailed thoughts on it. From what I can barely taste, it was a bit one dimensional. I couldn’t taste much other than a bit of pork and salt, but again, sourness overpowering. Noodles were fine, so were the chashiu. Don’t order the spicy ramen, and give the normal one a try. Based on other reviews, the normal is probably ok, but I can’t review something I haven’t eaten.

Thus shop is small and me and my wife enjoyed eating there. We had lots of laughs and the Ramen was more then we could eat. I made the mistake of doubling the noodles to my bowl. So fullI recommend having the dèep fried dumplings.

Absolutely exceptional cuisine. All the ingredients are fresh and flavourful. The skillful execution of culinary arts here is surprising. It's the perfect place to drop in for a quick lunch or a relaxing dinner. The overall valued experience here is excellent 👌🏻👍🏻

I heard about j7 this summer, a new ramen place in Whitby (south). The food I ordered was great, Takowasabi (octopus and wasabi served with seaweed) and spicy pork ramen. I’ll definitely come back and likely order takeout. Although the food was great, it’s not busy at all and the service is dull, so from an atmosphere experience, I only rated it 3/5. Hopefully they get more support from the community and I really hope it works out for them.

Stopped by J7 on Canada Day. To our surprise, it was quite empty. I got the Pork Miso Ramen and Spicy karaage. The ramen was really good but I wasn't the biggest fan of the Spicy Karaage - the meat itself was really good but I didn't like the sauce; it tasted like a buffalo-like sauce to me. I'm definitely coming back to try the original karaage :)
