Island Thyme Restaurant (Westwood Square Mall)

This has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. Delicious, fresh food and lots of love every time. Verh clean restaurant. Highly recommended. Mac and cheese is heavenly, and red pea soup hits the spot every time.

This restaurant NEVER fails to deliver amazing quality, delicious food. This place is a must try. I’ve ordered catering and take out from the restaurant for years with nothing but great experiences from start to finish. Hands down one of the best Caribbean restaurant I have ever been to and I have been to a lot. I have never been disappointed since buying from them over a year now. No matter what meal I get it was always good. Service is great too. Please don't change a thing.

I would rate this a 3.5. The oxtail was fall off the bone and good. The bbq chicken was also good. Now, the jerk chicken... that is imitation jerk. Nothing close to the authentic thing. The fried dumpling were huge but very doughy. I prefer fluffy dumplings, not ones you need a drink to swallow or that you have to take small bites. The macaroni salad was ok.

Food is delicious but Portions are very small. Bought an oxtail dinner and got mostly bone, oxtail is usually a more expensive meal, it would be nice to get a decent portion. I would probably try them once more and see if there's a difference.

I have being a customer since high school . They moved location for many years and when I notice they came back to Malton I had to go and support them . The owner is very very kind , friendly and respectful . The food is great and I would recommend them to all my Jamaican friend and Caribbean people also Canadians who are looking to have authentic Jamaican food . They have vegetarian options Iove it. . Mommy was served by Dee mom order corn soup and she was skeptical that it may not be good since it was mommy first time cause she don’t like eating out . Mommy had that soup and wanted more Island Tyme great customer service abs amazing food . I feel like family when I am ordering , they are so professional . I so proud of them and wish them Blessings and success in like cause they way they treat me and my son that’s special needs is as if they know us personally and as if we are family . Just authentic feel blessing to still have real people out there that give amazing service . Thank you so much Donavan that you came and to Malton servicing up such great Jamaican pride (good food ) your barbe fry is the best my son don’t eat food with color like he don’t want gravy on rice but when he comes her he has to have barbe fry chicken with stew chicken gravy .
