I ordered from uber today. A king fish dinner $27.50 and a macaroni pie $11.50. I am very disappointed after $39.20 for the order. $50 in total through Uber. I received one container with fish on white rice, salad and the pie I ordered. You're telling me that a $27 meal is only a piece of fish on white rice with some lettuce leaves because that's ridiculous. And the person that ordered macaroni pie has to take it out of my container?Insane!... I expect better. At least a rice and peas and a better side than undressed lettuce. I do not recommend. Will not be ordering from here again. For $50 I expect much more. Very disappointed.

I usually really like going here but the piece of chicken i got was so small. When i brought this up to the lady she agreed but then at the cash changed her tone and told me all the pieces are the same, she could of just gave me another piece but instead cashed me out with the small one. Theres barley any meat on this i basically just got a leg, its hard and tough to eat like its been sitting there all day. such a waste of money. I'm really disappointed.

Woman is super friendly saying hello and apologizing when its busy and there is a wait. Good portions and there are daily deals for $12.99. I chose jerk chicken with rice and peas, pasta, gravy and coleslaw. Everything was full of flavour and a bit spicy. I also ordered plantain which was dry as I like mine riper and sweeter. I would definitely go again.

Our go-to place when we're in the office. The rice and beans and jerk chicken are amazing. I love their coleslaw and their spicy beef patties. Definitely recommend this place.

I was looking for something to go with a new Trinidad-style hot sauce we picked up and found Island Spice Flava. Finding this spot was the best thing that happened to me this week. It was big inside, but there was no seating. It had a fence all around, reminding me of the pandemic times. The staff, speaking from behind their barricade and the food display, paired my three "All Day Special" orders with rice and peas without asking. While they were well seasoned and very filling, I would have preferred selecting my sides. Although they offered salad choices, the lack of labels led me to opt for the familiar ones, which were coleslaw and macaroni. It was a slight learning curve for a first-time visitor. Jerk Chicken: This authentic Jamaican dish boasted spices and tender meat so flavourful, it rendered my hot sauce unnecessary—a standalone masterpiece. Fried Chicken: Despite not being freshly fried to a crisp, its batter and meat paired remarkably well with our hot sauce. BBQ Chicken: This sweet and savoury dish was equally enjoyable on its own or enhanced with our hot sauce. Priced around $15 per item, the value was impressive. Although it was a challenge to order for the first time, the quality and taste of the food justified the visit. I'd like to return to try some of their other items on the menu, especially the oxtail.

On a mission to match a fiery new Trini style hot sauce with some worthy eats, I hit the jackpot with this spot. The portions? Huge. The flavor? Unmistakably bold. Each dish I dived into seemed like it was waiting its whole life for this hot sauce, making for pairings that were nothing short of legendary. We took out BBQ chicken, jerk chicken, and fried chicken, each resting on a bed of rice infused with its own spice melody, far from being mere background players. The synergy between the rich flavors of spices in the chicken and the vibrant kick of the hot sauce was like a well-orchestrated dance of heat and taste. Sure, the coleslaw could have used a bit of a tweak, but it was easy to overlook when everything else on the plate was hitting high. By the time I remembered it was there, I was too caught up in the rest of the meal’s brilliance to care. Honestly, if I could have this meal every day, I would.

The staff is friendly, very accommodating and patient when ordering. Especially when you end up ordering more than what you came in for. The price is right for the portions they gave. The food is fresh not stale. The jerk has the perfect spice and heat to it. They run out of soup fast, so if they have it, you have to add it to the order - so good! They take debit, cash, credit card (not amex). $12 for rice/noodles, meat, and 2 sides. Pictures: Fried Dumplings. Jerk chicken, rice and peas with double coleslaw. BBQ jerk chicken, rice and peas with macaroni and coleslaw. Chow mein, fried chicken, with macaroni and coleslaw. Slice of mac pie. Tip: the parking lot gets busy and it's small, so try to come at off hours.
