Indias Taste Mississauga

We tried this after driving past it on many occasions and thought we’d give it a try. Starting with the pros, this is a beautiful restaurant. Everything from the interior design, seats, and lighting was all fantastic. Sadly that was the only thing I can say that was excellent. The service was quite bad. We were sitting right near the cash with lots of servers around but it took over thirty minutes to be served, and there wasn’t more than five other occupied tables in the whole place. When we went up to get the food, it looked old in the trays, many were nearly empty and had appeared to be so for a while. The food itself wasn’t bad, but didn’t stand out. However, the price to eat here is truly ridiculous for what you get. For the two of us it was nearly $100. I was actually kind of shocked. The meals weren’t work more than $25 each if I’m being generous. It’s possible we caught them in a bad day, but we certainly won’t be returning to give them a second chance.

Worst food i have ever had. They literally served old stale hard not properly cooked chicken with half cooked curry, and call it as a handi chicken. Too much floating butter on Tandoori rotis, never asked for butter rotis. Papadum, full of fried oil. Too expensive, zero hospitality. The server girl, she put roti plate on top of papadum, without even seeing that it is not empty. Too costly, thank God we did not try their buffet. Not at all Recommended. Don't fall for the over show light business.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated. Lighting is perhaps a bit bright. Atmospheric music is perfect. Service was excellent, both from the humans and the very polite robotic server. Lots of free parking. As to the food... savory and succulent. We had the buffet and it did not disappoint. Great value for money, which is saying a lot these days. Highly recommend!

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. So many different verities in buffet! Beautiful appearance!Highly recommend restaurant taste india👍

I'm always on edge when I visit a fancy Indian restaurant in Canada. And I had just walked away with a really bad experience just two days back. So it was with trepidation that I visited India's Taste on the Argentina road in Mississauga. Lovely atmosphere and they even have a robot serving you. They have humans too. It was buffet time and there was quite an array, Indian and a few chinese dishes thrown in. I started with my favourite, my barometer, which is the Pani Puri and it was good. Went on to try the appetizers and then the main course. Wrapped up with delicious Gajar ka Halwa and of course my very favourite Ras Malai. Now here is a restaurant I can give my heart to. Five stars for everything. Who's inviting me again? The bill was the most pleasant shock. It was so ridiculously cheap. Thank you Taste of India. It was very Tasty

Really nice Indian restaurant. We have been used to go to Markham location which is nice. First we came here and found no difference in quality of food. Must try.

When you first walk in the place it is beautiful with its incredible lighting and big cushy bench seats. Then you look close. Some lights have gone out and the walls and seating look worn and unwashed. The food in the grill area was over cooked and dry. Mildly spicy so to the general public it’s probably ok. The veg and non veg dishes are very salty. My husband and I were grabbing glass after glass of water. The plates were never cleared until the end. We had to walk around to find someone to bring another bottle of water over. The curries like daal makhni was all gravy. Barely a lentil in it. The desserts were awful. The rasmalai was so over rose watered that it tasted like perfume. And the milk it was in was just milk. The kheer went bad and was sour. The gajar halva was old and stodgy. Honest opinion. Not worth the lunch price $60 bucks for two people with tax. And if it’s the same food for dinner, then absolutely do not go.

It was my first time visiting this location. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. They have variety of vegetarian options available. The food was delicious. When I ordered the butter naan, there was a lot of butter added on top. When I tried the naan, I could only taste the butter. I would recommend to let them know prior to ordering this item. Their customer service was great. They also had Robot Server, which at once malfunctioned. I was about to place the plate on the shelf and the Robot Server began to move forward right away. It is important for staff to ensure that Robot Servers are functioning properly at all times.
