We have ordered here many times on Ubereats and it usually is nice when we have ordered idly sambhar. Thinking of this place as a nice place we thought we would go and eat. Unfortunately the chicken tikka masala roti was nothing but just a taste of canned tomatoes in the gravy. We requested the guy at the counter to kindly change the dish or maybe make it alright but his response was, "I respect your opinion but this is made in bulk from the back end production team and it comes like this. We haven't made the gravy here." This raises a few questions: 1) where is the gravy coming from if it is not made here? 2) if they are only putting chicken, salt, and masalas, what is being made here? 3) If the gravy is tasting of canned tomatoes and nothing else, then why not take the feedback? Why is our feedback considered as an opinion? Here's a few facts to get right: You aren't the only Indian restaurant in the vicinity Also, if your gravy comes in from some back end bulk production, it is a questionable source and of course we wonder what else goes into it. The guy at the counter was helpful though to help us exchange the dish with something else. So we threw the chicken in their own trash can. If the restaurant management has an issue with what we have written here, check with your guy on the counter for telling us what he said. This happened now, that is 9:45 pm, 31st August, 2024.

I've been going to this place for past few years and the quality of the food has never once declined! The Curry rotis are luxurious with rich creamy taste, and the freshly made dosas are also a must at this place!

Located at very busy place near Toronto lake shore . Good for Indian food.Inside sitting is inconvenient due to suffocation. People wait for their turn to sit on outside seating area.

It’s been 15 min, and the paneer tikka is still so hot that it burned my mouth (hard palate) 😶 This usually happens when the food is microwaved and not cooked. I am sorry but, worst taste I have ever had. The guy at the front desk was good though.

Delicious food and lovely customer service! We like how they asked for the spicy level when we ordered our food and found that extra spicy isn't enough. A great amount of portion that we ended up taking our left overs home and amazing flavour. We will definitely be coming back and asking for extra extra spicy. Love that they give 10% discount if you pay cash.

Horrible experience. I ordered papdi chaat, filtered coffee and chicken Kathi tikka roll. The person taking the order was very rude as well. Filter coffee: Extremely sweet. Tasted like some packaged Nescafé coffee with excess sugar. Chicken Kathi Tikka roll: Not Kathi style at all. Artificial tomato flavour. No tikka taste. Papdi chaat: No sev was put. We even requested for it twice but no sev was put. The person who took the order said “We don’t have it, I have already put Bhel inside”. Note: the owner replied to my review in an indecent way and is questioning my knowledge of the papdi chaat dish. I suppose he must type “papdi chaat” on google and take a look at how the dish is SUPPOSED TO BE.
