In A Bowl

Ordered their Chicken Tonkotsu Ramen! It costs around $30ish for 2 bowls and the serving size is pretty big. The Tonkotsu broth is rich and creamy and they were generous with the toppings too. This is perfect for that quick ramen fix for the cold winter. There are def better authentic ramen restos out there but this def meets my expectations!

I came with a friend as we were looking for a place to eat in the area. We found the staff is not very flexible, it’s more like a fast food place. We order a soup and a bowl. Noodles on the soup where sticking together and didn’t taste very fresh. Bowl was a little better but nothing special.

We stopped here for lunch today, and we're very happy we did! The restaurant is bright and clean and the staff friendly. We ordered the squid balls and cream cheese wontons to start. We also ordered the Hawaiian, salmon and unagi bowls. The food was fresh and delicious! We will return for sure.

I recently visited this poke spot and was impressed with the excellent portions of fresh poke! The gentleman at the cash register was friendly and smiling, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. However, when I asked for a bit more seaweed flakes, the lady portioning my food rolled her eyes at me. It was a bit off-putting and didn’t match the otherwise great experience. I hope they can work on maintaining a friendly vibe throughout!

Good food, the crab and cheese wontons were too peppery but everything else was really good! Had lunch there but was served my miso soup and my poke in plastic takeout containers without lids, so you can't take it out if you later wanted to either. I don't mind the poke being in one (even though we were dining in) but the miso was so hot, I shouldn't have to eat it out of plastic unnecessarily. Had i known I wouldn't have added it to my meal. Atmosphere was good and service was even better. They had a couple items that were reminiscent of Japan, like the soft cake and assorted onigiri. The onigiri should be in the fridge as well!

To be clear, the food here continues to have good flavour and options. What has slipped considerably is portions. I realize shrinkflation happens, but we paid extra for more protein to offset this and don’t mind the extra cost to support local. However what we got was barely one portion. Disappointing to say the least. I have reached out twice to no avail. Should you go there? Yes! Should you watch carefully when they are making it and challenge them when they are portioning compared to what you paid for? Also yes. Edit: The owner did reach out to me to apologize and discuss a solution that I thought was very fair. I think that speaks volumes about their focus on customers and how small businesses can operate.

I had a very bad experience today I ordered a vegan bowl and my food was not fresh at all it came with honey inside and the staff didn’t told me as I can’t have honey and sweets in my food . I tried to eat it but it made me sick . The ingredients were cheap and not fresh ! I returned the food to the store and manager refused to give refund or change it even though I had my full food and receipt. He/she yelled at me after I told I will write a review he yelled and said never come back and leave the store WHATTTT?? Who does that ? Never again
