IL Padre's Gourmet Pizza

First time. Came here based on the high ratings. The place inside looks unhygienic and the kitchen was cluttered with random stuff all over the place. We got one slice and it was definitely not fresh. From the day before? Or worse.

I went by IL padres for a lunch slice. At $6.50 for a slice and pop, it's not a bad deal. The slice is okay. The crust here is thin and a little bit on the denser side. However the sauce and cheese is quite good! Overall this is a nice spot that has been around for a while. It's a nice neighborhood spot and a good stop for a quick lunch.

One of the best pizzas in Toronto, and here is why: This family-owned pizza place has been in business for over 20 years, and they are still popular all these years. They always have customers from morning to evening - this speaks to the fact of how good their food is. They always have fresh produce and make their dough every day. In addition, their prices are very affordable; I don't know any other pizza place that can give you such high-quality food at this price. If there was a way to eat pizza every night and stay healthy and fit, I would eat there every day of the week. I tried almost every pizza flavor there, and my favorite is Pesto Pizza - I highly recommend it, especially if you ask to add some mushrooms and olives. I also suggest you call them 15-20 minutes before coming to pick it up. I wish this place to expand and grow so that more people would try their fantastic food!

Little family owned shop Very nice people but you can very clearly see sanitation is not a thing here. Touching cell phones and then the pizza without washing hands. Hanging clothes up outside then comes inside to serve and no hand washing.. As a paying customer if I ask for my slice to not be warmed up too hot I expect my request to be granted and not told "it's not hot enough" I often have slices left over from the previous day or if ordering a pepperoni and all they Have is cheese they will just throw pepperoni on top of the cheese slice and heat it up. The peps are then not cooked properly. Also having my slices cut like this is pretty sad. The inside is not very customer friendly. The same 1 person table and bench that is never clean. The door is always open in the summer and the inside is swarmed with bugs and bees.

I have eaten pizza in every province and territory, and this is excellent pizza! I've been going to Yummy pizza since the 90s and just went for a slice today in 2023. It tasted exactly like I remember it! Great crispy thin crust, nicely seasoned sauce with a good amount of oregano, quality cheese and toppings. This place has been a staple of the community for years and the owners are a lovely family. Highly recommended! Much better than the local chain options and overpriced pies from the new spots.

Paul, the owner makes your experience here great with his exceptional customer service...so hospitable and friendly! He goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. My Margarita pizza was very good! I liked the crispy, thin crust and the ingredients tasted fresh. The price is very reasonable and the portions large. It is a great local neighbourhood pizzeria - there's only one table, so best to take it home. It's easy to find. I'll definitely go there again!

It's a mom and pop gourmet pizzeria. Great prices for gourmet pizza! This little hidden gem has been around for 25 years. Come and get a slice if you don't want a whole pizza. This pizzeria has been taking care of there community. From pizza day at schools to food trucks. It doesn't have a chance to make it in my door. You got to try it!
