Ramen is very customizable and the toppings are quite generous. God Fire ramen at spice level 4 wasn’t as spicy as I’d expected, but I enjoyed the depth of flavour.

I can’t get great ramen where I live so I was super excited to hit up Ikkousha while I was in Toronto. Perfect portion size, great atmosphere for a small place and the staff were super friendly, and I love how customizable the ramen is with all the topping and condiment choices. I also totally could have gone spicier so if you have a good spice tolerance don’t be afraid of the 3-4 pepper ramen!

Perfect spot for ramen cravings and efficient service! There's seating available for casual seating with the long sharing table and more separate tables for more larger groups. Love how the ramen is creamy and highly customizable to adjust to your personal preferences. The service was really quick.

Ikkousha Ramen on Queen St. West is hands down one of my favorite ramen spots! The rich, flavorful broths and perfectly cooked noodles always hit the spot. Whether you go for their classic tonkotsu or one of their other signature bowls, every dish is packed with depth and authenticity. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and efficient. I’ve been here multiple times, and each visit has been a great experience. If you're a ramen lover, Ikkousha is definitely a must-try!

I tried the God Ramen, opting for level 4 spice, which delivered the perfect kick—spicy but in an enjoyable way. The takoyaki was excellent, with a great crunch. My friend, who’s Japanese, enjoyed the mentai rice, though I found it just alright. I also ordered the premium toppings; the meat was tender and flavorful, but the egg was more cooked than I preferred—likely because I left it in the broth too long, so I’d recommend eating it immediately. I appreciated the sesame grinders and additional ramen sauce at the table, allowing for customization. The service is efficient and attentive; they quickly refilled tissues and responded promptly when I asked for water. The food arrived fast, which was great. However, the interaction with staff is minimal—you place your order on a slip of paper and hand it in. It’s straightforward and efficient, but not the kind of place where you engage much with the servers. Still, with 61 locations worldwide in just 20 years, it’s impressive, and I’d consider it one of the best ramen spots in Toronto. Highly recommended!

I recently tried the spicy miso tonkatsu ramen, and it was fantastic. The broth was flavorful, and the pork was incredibly soft and delicious. I loved that they had fresh minced garlic, pickled ginger, and spicy takana available at every table, adding a nice touch to the meal. The service was efficient, and the ordering process was straightforward—you simply fill out a sheet with your choices for noodles, ramen, appetizers, and drinks. The ambiance really captured that authentic Japanese ramen vibe, which made the experience even better. Pricing is reasonable, making it a great spot for quality ramen. Overall, I had a really good experience and would definitely recommend it.

Not only the noodle’s texture is chewy, chashu is also well seasoned. I ordered a spicy miso ramen and I really enjoyed the taste of the soup, it’s flavorful but not overly greasy. As a ramen lover I’ll rate this ramen a ten out of ten, definitely worth a try. 💯

Lovely, cozy restaurant with an atmosphere that compliments the homey, satisfying Ramen. My husband ordered the traditional Ramen and I ordered the spicy miso Ramen. Both were delicious, generous portions and very filling. Food like this just hits the stop and is comforting in a way similar to your favorite home cooked meal.
