The food is amazing if you're hungry and want something hearty and quick. The store is good. Love the atmosphere. It's always nice to be able to physically test furniture you're going to purchase. The staff are always so nice and very easy to work with. Really a good place to go to save money and refurnish.

The food was pretty decent not going to lie. If your a vegetarian and are craving something savoury I suggest you get the veggie balls meal, it’s honestly super filling and tastes great

Went to the ikea Vaughan restaurant today ( Dec 11, 2024) around noon. We passed the station for main food and reached the soup section , which is when we decided to just take a main meal , so I walked back few steps and asked the guy at the counter to get me a meal. He was talking to a chef. The chef said I have to get through the entire queue to get the food. I told him I just walked ahead few steps , but in vain. I was denied my request. It was poor attitude from the chef. Kindly improve the services.

Perhaps I did not eat at the restaurant per se, but the one at the exit. The restaurant did look inviting and inspired me to get a veggie dog before I left. The place was not perfectly clean, but still much cleaner compared with those in BC. I appreciated they offered chargers 🔌, even though I did not need it. It would be a great place for snacks or light dinners as we stayed at one of the hotel nearby.

IKEA goes as far as possible in cheapening dishes, but not making them tastier. 🙁 Now the piece of salmon has become even thinner. Absolutely mismatched tastes of side ingredients. Absolutely unsalted rice with corn, sweet beets, and some tasteless greens. A slightly spicy sauce that would be good with chilled shrimp, but not with hot steamed fish. Medallions are now considered as separate meals. Unfortunately, the lemon-dill sauce has disappeared. Minus 10 points to the inventors.

Came to Ikea for their half price Swedish entree's on Thursdays. I believe they're running this promo until August 2024, but not fully sure. Got both the Swedish meatballs meal and the fish and chips meal. For the price amazing. Swedish meatballs honestly tasted really good, and with the mashed potatoes and jam/jelly, Unbelievable combo. Fish and Chips were basically like frozen fish and chips but for $4.50 I cannot complain. I would definitely come back on a Thursday again to get food. I will say, it is very busy, imitates a massive food hall, so beware of that.
