Very bad experience. The food which we ordered through Uber was fried rice and chilly chicken, and was so disappointing. It’s just chicken bones and the rice was sticky. Also they added too much food colour and the stain remained in my hands even if I washed thoroughly with water and soap. They changed $31 for this and we just wasted our money and we didn’t ate the food. I never recommend anyone to buy this food from there and the restaurant has to make sure that the money they get from the customers are respectfully treated.

I think google should do a ten star .. instead of five star.. this place is seriously a gold as the name says it all. Tried their combos , chicken biriyani and their porotta and beef roast. It was so delicious.we all enjoyed the food.. was so authentic . Had a chance to meet the signature chef Aneesh.. his culinary skills are way so admirable. I would definitely come back. Thank you for making our first visit so memorable..

This place is really good. It was my first time here and I didn’t know what to order. The lady at the front of house was very friendly and helped me pick some good options to try. We loved all the dishes we had and we will be back.

I had a very disappointing experience at Idukki Gold Restaurant last night. I found insects in my food, which was quite off-putting. It's really important for any restaurant to maintain hygiene standards, and this was a letdown. I hope they take steps to improve their kitchen practices to avoid such incidents in the future. I investigated this matter today and found that this restaurant has similar complaints in the past and Health authorities took action and closed this restaurant previously. I would not recommend this restaurant ever again until and unless someone wants to consume insects in their food. 'Reply to Insect serving restaurant' I don't intend to waste any more of my time on this matter, but I must clarify that Idukki Gold seems unwilling to address its hygiene issues and is attempting to shift blame onto customers. Since, the owner questioned my integrity i would share the recent report from the Health regarding your restaurant. and they have also highlighted the unhygienic conditions of this restaurant including pests. June 4 - Conditional Pass June 7 - Pass ( After fixing issues, Health inspected again) And i dont want to see your forged report. and if you feel that health department has made mistake by releasing false report please report them or do the needfull. Whatever, Thank you for offering to share reports, but I won't be pursuing this further. To the public - Please think whether you should spend money to get this nasty service. Peace out.

We brought podi choir and angamali meals. The food was awesome. Super filling as the quantity was good. Loved the taste. The ambiance was cozy not the best place to dine in, as it looks more of a take out place. I went there as I did see a insta video months back. They have some Verity items...

Recent visit to the Idukki Gold Kerala restaurant in Toronto was like stepping into a warm hug from home. From the friendly smiles to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made me feel cherished. What struck me most was how they managed to serve up delicious Kerala cuisine at such affordable prices, without skimping on quality. As someone who travels all the way from Peterborough just to dine here, I can tell you, it's worth every mile for the love and care they put into every dish. I tried a little of everything – from the delicious pothichor to the amazing beef coconut roast. Every bite reminded me of Kerala's flavors. But the best was definitely the beef coconut roast – you have to try it! Leaving, I couldn't wait to come back for more of their tasty food and friendly atmosphere. It really feels like a second home.
