Absolutely worst Kizhi parotta I ever tasted in ontario. I have tried at least from 5 6 restaurants and none had this thick bread filled with oily curry. No taste just thick naan bread. Too bad. Never visiting again

One of the best South Indian restaurants I have experienced. If you love spicy food then this is your place. The food is served super hot so you enjoy each bite. Idli Manchurian and cheese burst dosa were outstanding. Place is aesthetically beautiful and staff is very nice

I left my son to take us out to wherever he wanted and knowing my palate he chose this place which I had not even heard of. What a pleasant surprise as it definitely is like a hidden gem and I can assure you it will not disappoint in anyway! The food was fresh and the aroma and spices used sent me to La La land! The food does take time to arrive to your table but it is piping hot and we went on a weekend so it was busy. Portion size was also good. It’s an extremely spacious place and has a lower and upper level. The upper level also has a bar. With lots to offer. The service was good and the servers were pleasant to talk to. I only complained about the South Indian coffee which came cold and no taste of coffee except for milk. It’s like they ran short of the decoction. The server did not make an effort to get me a hot cup of coffee and a coffee which tasted like coffee and not just milk. A word of caution for those who donot eat spicy food please please mention when you are ordering what level of spice you want Lots of parking available as this is situated at the back of Best Western Hotel

Visited Idli Street on a Sunday afternoon, and the ambience was absolutely amazing! The place looked so good we wondered why we hadn’t discovered it earlier. As for the food, it was a mixed bag — not great but not bad either. The sambaar with idli was authentic and tasty, while the rasam was decent. The king fish fry, though fresh, lacked seasoning. Unfortunately, the Kerala paratha and curry leaves chicken curry were a letdown. That said, I’m willing to give them another chance and explore more of their menu.

We had an amazing dining experience at Idli street. The highlight was definitely the Chicken Ghee Roast Dosa - it was simply awesome! The flavors were spot on and the dosa was crispy perfection. The Mutton Kheema Dosa was also nice, though not as outstanding as the chicken. Ambience was lovely, cozy and well-maintained. Our server was friendly, attentive and made sure we had a great time. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary Gulab Jamun, which was a sweet gesture. Will definitely recommend and return for more! Recommended dishes: Chicken Ghee Roast Dosa Rating breakdown: • Food: 4.5/5 • Ambience: 5/5 • Service: 5/5 • Value: 4/5

Amazing food, this place is a hidden gem as you might miss it if not paying attention, it’s not in the other mall where lot of eateries exits close by. They have great menu and the food is simply mouthwatering, have already been there twice in a span of a week. Highly recommend it for some South Indian style curries and Kerala Parotta even for non South Indians.

A nice place to have your dosas and idlis ! especially in mississauga ! A place worth coming back to! The mini idlis and kids dosa have always been enjoyed by the kids! The chicken soup is spicy and not for the faint hearted! Good during winter months! Recommend the chicken chukka with plain dosa Mehak is very amiable and courteous and Arjun is v helpful as well

I accidentally went to Idli Street restaurant with a friend for a takeaway and it turned out to be good. I wasn't aware of this restaurant and will visit again because of their ambience and the variety of food options. A variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and they serve alcohol. Looks like a very South Indian cuisine, but will have to taste once as the menu looks good. Was in a hurry and couldn't take pictures of their menu. The restaurant is well themed, decorated and maintained clean. Parking is available within the premises. Since I was with a friend, just to try, I ordered Gobi Manchurian and it was well done and tasteful.
