Ichiban Sushi House

We decided to try this spot Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised by how great it was! Very welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in and our waitress was very sweet and accommodating to us. The chef came out to greet everyone as well! We ordered the sushi and sashimi dinner and our friends ordered various rolls. The quality of the food was so fresh and delicious. I usually am very picky with sashimi and the freshness of the sashimi here was amazing. Definitely recommend this spot for kind service and tasty sushi!!!

From the outside, this place may not look like much, due to most of the windows being covered. But don't let that stop you from venturing in and taking a seat! The interior is warm and inviting, our waitress Sophia was nothing but kind to us, and the food is generously sized, especially the sushi rolls! So make sure you bring your appetite if you decide to come here! I'm sure you won't regret it!

Very yummy food with authentic Japanese flavor and friendly service. Sashimi is just melting in your mouth. Tip: try butterfish Sashimi, they are the best. Great place to eat after a long walk along the beach.

Amazing food. My wife is very picky and she loved it! Need I say more? Rice in the maki rolls was cooked perfectly. Such nice staff and chefs. Will visit again soon. Dynamite rolls a must!

Been to this amazing sushi restaurant near the beach area tonight. We ordered this love boat for two, I must say this is good price for 2 people, it includes some other appetizers, salad and soup. The waitress was very accommodating and considerate. Chef jimmy serves fresh sashimi and sushi, it’s good to know that he had been on a tv show “Day time” showing his skills. Also the ambiance of this place is very nice and classy.

The service at Ichiban Sushi House was truly outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The interior was beautifully done, this newly renovated restaurant adds a fantastic vibe to the neighborhood. We started our meal with a selection of appetizers, and each one was a delightful treat, cooked to perfection. For our main course, we opted for the Sashimi Only Boat, which was a true showcase of freshness and quality. It featured a variety of exquisite selections, including albacore tuna, blue fin tuna, mackerel, uni, scallops, squid and more. Overall, our dinner at Ichiban Sushi House was fantastic, and we had an excellent time. We wholeheartedly recommend this new spot in the Beach area and are eagerly looking forward to returning soon!

We had a delicious lunch of sashimi, vegetable tempura, dynamite rolls and it was so good. The sashimi selection was not your run of the mill. Fresh, unique and creative... and beautifully plated. A wonderful addition to our neighbourhood. We will be back.
