Ichiban Asian All You Can Eat Markham

I recently dined at Ichiban AYCE in Markham, and overall, it was an awesome experience! There was such a great variety of dishes. Everything from fresh sushi and sashimi to hot entrees and tempura. The sushi was definitely fresh, with nice cuts of fish, and the rolls were generous. The sashimi was also top notch, and the salmon melted in your mouth. The tempura was awesome it was perfectly crispy without being greasy, and the shrimp and veggies were fresh. I also loved the grilled items, like the teriyaki chicken and the BBQ ribs, which were packed with flavor. The only thing I’d say could be improved was the flavor on some of the cooked dishes, like the stir-fried noodles, but nothing was bad by any means. The only downside was that we had to wait about 40 minutes after our reservation time since it was so busy, but the food was definitely worth the wait. Once seated, the service was friendly and quick. Despite the delay, everything was delicious, and I’d definitely give it a 5-star rating.

Haven't eaten inside the restaurant before, but I always come here to order takeout since there is a 15% discount when paying with cash. My personal favourite rolls are the pink lady roll, the green dragon roll, and the sweet potato roll. I don't like the dancing mango roll because of the cream cheese inside, but I guess some people enjoy that. Hands down my favourite place to get takeout sushi in Markham.

The food is very good! I have only been here twice and all of their options are delectable. Even though they have a long wait, their kindness and hospitality is immeasurable! And I love the atmosphere. Their festive decorations really bring out the fifth star of my rating. Overall, Ichiban is a sensational restaurant for joyous memories to be made.

My family and I visited this location during the holiday season and were glad we reserved a table ahead of time. The restaurant was extremely busy, but seating was surprisingly quick given the crowd. The staff were efficient, clearing plates promptly, and the food was fresh, delicious, and served quickly. We loved the wide assortment on the dinner menu and the self-serve salad bar in the centre of the restaurant. Overall, the quality and variety were excellent, and the price was reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend!

Great food, delicious! Everyone was friendly and the service was quick and amazing. Had almost every variety on the menu. Second time going and service did not lack a year later. Food looks pretty and it's cooked well and goes kitchen to table from how hot it is. Side note: the squid skewer was a tad tough to eat, but flavour was great. Would recommend to go, Price is not bad for what you can eat.

Overall, the food was amazing and came very fast. But to getting a table here is a nightmare! They told us it would only take around 40 minutes for our table, ended up being over an hour. And when we sat down at our table. We were less than an arms length away from the table beside us. We had trouble getting out of the couch seating. But the good part was, the food was great and it came very fast. I could tell they make all the sushi and food fresh. I also really liked their ice shaving machine. I feel like if they had a better space and design of the restaurant, this would’ve been my new favorite ayce restaurant.

Very modern and lots of parking spots! Reservation is recommended as they do get real busy. Price wise is reasonable. We went for dinner and ample of selections to choose from the dinner menu! Love love the soup bar, salad bar and the dessert bar!! They kept it simple and impactful. I myself went back for the shaved ice dessert 3+ times and each time is a different fun creation!! The bowl of sashimi was impressive and love the presentation.
