This isn't a place that will overload each piece with too much rice while giving you a tiny piece of fish. Each piece of the salmon toro toro for example was big, nice and fatty while also very fresh. Same can be said for the hotate that I tried. I also tried the unagi sushi. At quite literally every other place i've ever had here in Toronto, the unagi was low qualitity and smotherered in sauce. Not here. Here it reminds me of the Unagi I ate often in Japan, marinated/grilled to perfection and only a small amount of extra sauce as to not overpower the eel itself. Really looking forward to returning and getting the Unagi don where its hopefully also like that. Here you do the ordering on an Ipad (or through scanning the qr code though at that time it wasnt working). That was another thing that reminded me of some restaurants in japan, being able to just order through the Ipad and as you want more, just order more through that was great. Not all items had pictures yet though, but the place is new so hopefully eventtually they'll have some for each item. I do worry most people quickly walking by won't know what they are or what they'll offer since the window at the time only displays a small menu and the name to me suggests an izakaya spot. Maybe more things on the window could better grab peoples attention.

Delicious sushi from a new restaurant on Dundas. We ate: scallop sushi, eel sushi, karaage appetizer, pressed salmon sushi, and salmon toro sushi. Everything was very tasty. The scallop had a rich, buttery flavour and was plump and juicy. My favourite and I’ll be ordering this again in the future. The eel sushi was also very good. I find that many restaurants use too much of that brown sauce but here, it was just a drizzle so you can still taste the eel. It was also cooked very well. Grilled to perfection. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re craving sushi. We will definitely be back!

I got this special sushi set for takeout, and it’s visually stunning with an impressive variety of rolls. It tastes like something crafted in a fine dining restaurant, absolute treat for any sushi enthusiast!

New sushi restaurant close to AGO. Excellent Maki rolls which are quite mouthful and very delicious. We ordered a diamond party tray which was totally worth it for 2 people.
