Worst biryani, service ever. Asked for Chicken dum biryani tray - said they only have mutton dum biryani. Okay, Mutton is fine. I took a small try for take out. As you can see it’s rice and mutton, It’s not biryani and the mutton pieces are burnt out. I was so upset and called them to give a review, turns out they tried the new recipe on me. So freaking angry informed I’m never gonna visit the store again. — review from a Hyderabadi who loves biryani.

Authentic hyderabadi food and portion sizes are pretty big. Service is a bit slow as there was just 1 person at that time. Also momos that were advertised were not available. Overall reasonable prices and good for family dining.

We visited Hyderabad Cafe in Scarborough for dinner yesterday, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The ambience was soothing and created a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the Dabba Style Chicken along with Butter Naan, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. We also tried the Shahi Paneer curry, which was perfect in every way. The flavors were authentic, and the food was served fresh. However, when we asked for onions and lemon on the side, we were surprised to learn that there was an additional charge of $2.99, which seemed a bit too pricey. I would suggest either reducing the price or offering them complimentary as a small gesture to enhance the dining experience. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would still recommend this place for a satisfying dining experience. Special mention to Payal, the staff member who provided excellent customer service—she truly knows how to make guests feel welcome!

The ambience was quite good. I had ordered a Malai bun with irani tea. It was the best. Next I ordered was Andhra chicken and garlic naan, honestly the gravy was delicious but the chicken was cold 🥶. For the main course chicken dum biryani it was good. The desserts were fresh and tasty 😋

Some nice Hyderabadi flavours here. Been here for dinner and we ordered the following; 1. Goat paya: on spot and the spice of the soup kicks in right from the smell. 2. Crispy corn : best best best. You feel you are eating this dish in India🙏🏼 3. Schezwan noodles: takes you to Indian street 🥰 just loved it. 4. Katarnak Karam kodi : I felt it was more tangy than spicy, it couldn’t beat the crispy corn. 5. Chicken Mandi : decent 6. Mutton dum biryani: decent 7: chicken ghee roast biryani: decent 8: paneer biryani: nice Over all starters are great but the biryani’s need more biryani factor in it.

Hyderabad Cafe: Mixed Bag Hyderabad Cafe offered a somewhat disappointing dining experience. While the punugulu were a standout, the rest of the food was merely average, lacking the authentic Hyderabadi flavors we were hoping for. The service was also subpar with water served in paper cups instead of proper glassware. Additionally, the restaurant had an unpleasant smell and the restrooms were in poor condition. Overall, while the punugulu were a highlight, the rest of the experience was underwhelming. There are likely better options for Hyderabadi cuisine in the area.

We have visited this restaurant in search of authentic Hyderabadi food for Dinner on Saturday night. Very good typical Indian restaurant ambience. Restaurant was full but, luckily we got a table just in time. After receiving detailed descriptions from Waitress Payal for selected menu items, we ordered Chintamani Chicken, Dhaba Style Chicken, Butter naan, House special Chicken Dum Biryani and Irani Chai. Wait time for the food service was reasonable, in fact quick enough considering the rush in the restaurant. I would say they serve one of the top Indian Chicken Dum Biryani in GTA. Their Chicken Dum Biryani is undoubtedly authentic tasty as Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. Medium Spice - Bit on high side. Next time we will order mild spice. Half star I am taking out for spice level. Full marks to Payal and Chef...Thank you!

Initially, I have tried the food of Hyderabad cafe in MILTON branch, and the food in this branch was really outstanding and expecting the same. I visited this place of Hyderabad cafe in Scarborough branch, but got little disappointed as the food served was not totally upto the mark and the food from the menu, which we ordered Was served cold. The service was good. Atmosphere was good but the food was just an average.
