When first walking in, it feels like you’re in a beautiful camping ground or garden. The effort put in to make such a unique space was fantastic. We got 2 dishes, and thoroughly enjoyed them. The portion sizes were large and we loved the Jasmine green tea we ordered. The wait staff were so friendly, refilling our tea so much we felt very pampered. The music was mostly in Chinese and was loud, yet even after having basically no sleep for 24 hours, we found it really nice (my boyfriend really dislikes live music but he liked the band and singer!). Many people were studying or laughing and chatting with their friends - it felt so familial and relaxing. We played chess, drank tea, and had a good time. We got comforting food, on a cold chilly day. We recommend and are definitely planning on bringing our friends.

It's an amazing place! I was thinking of getting a special and romantic restaurant to celebrate my 17th anniversary with my husband. But I don't like western food or middle-east food that I always paid a lot just for the environment.

Since the move to Markham, Hutaoli Music Restaurant & bar has become my go-to place after late night work. They are opened late, with amazing food and cocktails, and fantastic live music (there is live music every night according to the staff). Our favourite items to order: - Tomato with scrambled eggs + white rice - Housemade Black Bean Tofu - Seasonal veggies You order food and drinks by scanning the QR code at your table. The staff said if you want to mod an item (ex. no garlic, or request non-spicy), you will have to type it in Chinese because the kitchen staff only reads Chinese XD We have been doing that since lol. The staff are always quick and courteous. Food usually comes out very fast as well. Overall, I really enjoy experience there each time :) Coming back again soon!

My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday around 6pm and the place was empty even until after 7pm. We ordered the durian pizza and roasted chicken. The pizza was meh and the chicken was sooo dry it's like a zombie chicken lol. Also ordered drinks which were okay. Seems like they have live music (not during the time we visited tho) so if you're here for drinks only then it could be good but otherwise I would not recommend for the price 🥲

The restaurant charged an 18% service fee for our group, but we couldn't get the waiter to even refill our water, and they messed up our bill in the end and OVER CHARGED US. The food is hit and miss with more misses than hits. -Their house special fried chicken isn't that much better than the whole fried chicken you get from T&T but with an obscene price tag. -The skewers were pretty run of the mill which doesn't justify the price. - the stir fry dishes are fine. For people who don't venture far from the standard chop sueys, this is a good option. - other items are hit and miss. Black tofu was cool, durian pizza actually tasted like it had durian, clam with glass noodle is really nothing special. The atmosphere was nice, live music with a big screen playing live sports. It's a little loud and hard to have a conversation, so beware.

If you haven’t come here to try their new menu and drinks RUN DON’T WALK! Absolutely love the new dishes on the menu, big upgrade on quality and flavor. Highlight of this restaurant has to be the customized cocktails. Sharon is probably one of the best bartenders in Toronto! Each drink was amazing and curated to our tastes. She is such a highly educated and skilled bartender I am so grateful to have met her and will definitely visit often!

This restaurant offers live singing. They have an extensive drink menu. Food was just okay and there wasn’t too much variety. They have special deals and foods and drinks. I went on a Thursday so skewers were half price and classic cocktails were $10. Service was good. Interior was decorated nicely.

This restaurant offers live singing and music starting at 6:30 pm, divided into two sessions. While your dining time is restricted to one session, the overall experience is delightful. It's perfect for a casual get-together with friends over a light dinner and beers. For those who prefer conversation, I suggest choosing a table away from the stage.
