Authentic tasty Hunan food but disorganized and s-l-o-w service. I probably will NOT return. Life is too short to wait 30-45 minutes for a bit of food on uncomfortable wooden benches. We ordered the Hunan smoked pork with vegetables. It was oily but very delicious. The fried rice was very good too. Unfortunately, it came very late and only after I pointed out to the waitress that the dish she originally gave us had no rice! Fried rice with pickled beans and minced pork BUT NO FRIED RICE. The steamed spare ribs with taro was satisfying. We gobbled it up since we were so hungry from waiting 30+ minutes. The picture I added on Google shows my order in Chinese and the TIME of the order. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food. By the time the fried rice arrived, the other dishes were either finished or cold.

very authentic Hunan style spicy food. All the dishes we ordered were very delicious and spicy! Definitely recommending and would come back try more stuffs again.

Pure Hunan style restaurant，with interesting menu of traditional spicy dishes. The pork trotter in sour soup bowl is tender and juicy. I like the vegetable in hot plate as well.

This is probably the best Chinese Hunan cuisine restaurant. The pepper with meat slices is very tasty, meat is tender. It also has a wide range of Chinese BBQ items. The decor of the restaurant is quite nice.

Went for dinner on a Friday evening. It was not very crowded, didn’t have to wait. The dishes are on the salted side, spicy but not too spicy. Portion size is smaller than expected.

One of the trendy places one needs to a QR code to see the menu. There is an English option but no pics of the dishes, so one needs to understand by the dish title, unless one has a Chinese interpreter. Went with some friends who ordered. Hunan province is known for their spice, so ordered 3 spicy dishes, one of which was pretty spicy. Overall, it is quite different to the Canadian-Chinese fare one is accustomed to, food was flavorful but a bit on the oily side.

Food 4/5 (food isn’t bad, just super oily)😂 Service 4/5 Vibe 4/5 New location that took over Long Time No See. There is 4 private rooms and I believe at least 2 of them comes with Karaoke Machine. Highly recommend their Stir Fried Pork Belly with Green Peppers 小炒肉， and lot of people said its taste like the the dish in 费大厨 in China. (You can be the judge of it), but i love the smoke flavour of the meat. 5/5 Food was great personally. Like i loved everything i ate, but it is SUPER OILY. So if you have a stomach like mines, it will be a challenging night for sure😂 Service is def slowly than regular Chinese place, but they are also short of staff so be patience. Overall 4/5!
