Huevos Gourmet

Ehhhhhh. I was really looking forward to this place but it wasn’t the greatest. My friend enjoyed her eggs, but her potatoes were extremely undercooked. I had the nachos & they were extremely disappointing. They were super soggy and weren’t very appealing. Tasted like they threw everything in the microwave and quickly just heated it up before bringing it out. Really not good.

2 stars because the food is good but do not accept the Mexican sweet bread. It’s offered by the server who goes around the restaurant offering them from a basket, similar to how restaurants give free bread - a gesture I thought was really kind and reflective of great service. The only difference is that they charge you $3 per piece on your bill. I raised my concern to the server, that I was surprised as it wasn’t disclosed or implied there was a charge, and she apologized but continued to leave it on the bill. I had no choice but to pay - it’s not the amount but the principle. It was my first time at this restaurant and that move left a bad taste in my mouth.

Amazing staff, cute decor, and incredible food! Ordered the Tacos Benedict and it was my favourite breakfast item I’ve had in a long time- possibly ever. The egg yolk was so bright and orange. All the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of food. This place is truly a gem!

First time visiting Port Credit and found this nice and cozy brunch restaurant. I ordered the 3-egg salmon Benedict. They offer both soft-boiled and hard-boiled egg options which is good for picky eaters like me. The hollandaise sauce is not too sour, which is great. I choose half and half (salad and home fries) as the sides. I would say these small customization options are great. The servers were also really attentive and offered coffee refills for us before we asked. Even though the restaurant is small, the food and service make it a good experience! I would recommend this place and visit again.

Food had no taste or flavour. I had to add salt to every dish. Even the potato fries were bad, which is hard to mess up. It was grey in colour and no seasoning. This is my second time here and I thought first time was just a mistake and I ordered wrong dish, but looks like everything is tasteless

Came here on a whim, and it was a good vibe. Quesadilla was good. The Bahama Mama cocktail was delicious. My knock to the score is on the homefries. The ones I received were underdone. On my Girlfriends plate, they were on the border of being burnt, but at least the potato was cooked all the way through and had colour and was crispy. So some consistency in this area would have been nice. Overall kind of mid. Good drink menu, would try again but will avoid the home fries in future.

This is an American-Mexican style brunch with a beautiful environment and excellent service. However, while the presentation of the food is great, the taste and portion size are somewhat lacking.

Food is delicious. Decor is charming. And the service was fast and friendly. Everything we ordered was tasty but what stood out were the Nachos Benedict (Mexican-French fusion indeed) and the freshly made Churros. The guava dip was the "cherry" on top - very subtle but something different. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
