Don’t know why some left 3 stars after commenting on the delicious foods. This is Chinese restaurant. Shouldn’t expect unnecessary service like other types of restaurants. They put their best efforts in the substance not in the lips service Very good Chinese foods I haven’t been able to find in a long time. I have been here 3 times and each time the quality is just as good. This is the kind of spicy wok fried Chinese foods I used to imagine but failed to find most places else

Went for a late night dinner and luckily it was still open at 1-2am. It was our first time there and we wanted something spicy. We ordered cumin mutton, house special fried rice and spicy beef. It was very filling and was reasonably priced. I highly recommend the cumin mutton for those who do not mind that flavor. Service couod have definitely been better. Overall a great experience and will return :)

Hot Taste” is Always Great! We’ve been to “Hot Taste” five times now, and every time has been awesome. The food is delicious, and our whole family loves it. My wife, kids, parents, and I always enjoy what we eat here. What we like most is that the food tastes amazing, and it doesn’t cost too much. It feels like we’re eating at a fancy restaurant without having to spend a lot of money. Sometimes, you might need to wait a little because they’re busy, especially at dinner, but they’re actually faster than I expected, which really surprised me. The people working there are nice and friendly too. That’s why I wanted to write this review—we’re so happy with our dining experience! We’re from Quebec and New Jersey 🇺🇸, and whenever we’re in Ontario, “Hot Taste” is one of our favorite stops. We always know we’ll have a great meal here, and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you, “Hot Taste,” for making every visit special!

Everything 4 stars but overall 5 star rating. This place is legit authentic. Food is good, has a level of standard. Prices are very very reasonable. Drinks are cheap. Been coming here for years, this place probably has 20+ years of history. Would recommen the boneless water cook fish. This is a classic at this place among our friends. The pop-corn chicken is very crispy and nicely seasoned. Also a classic we always order. Although this is a spicy food restaurant, you can always ask for additional spicy. We usually ask for more spicy. Dinner with more food than the table could fit was $50 per person including beers and tips.

Eggplant skin was very tough and inedible. The flavour was good but the eggplants were probably old. The hot pot thing was quite boring. Only one type of vegetable inside it was some sort of zucchini or cucumber and only a few types of meat which is omasum, beef brisket, ox tail, and literally one piece of tendon. The entire pot was filled with the broth and not enough food inside and tasted very homemade in a bad way.

Overall pretty good restaurant. Food were delicious (can be more spicy). Server service was so so. Food size portion not too big, price rate was on par. Overall 3 stars!!

Passed by looking for something open late. Alot of great options, our food selection was pretty good. Large portion sizes. The server was friendly but didn't speak much English, but we were able to order and get everything we needed without much complication. Place is pretty nice. Pricing is pretty standard in comparison to other Chinese spots in the area.
