A great take away plane for Caribbean food, I myself got the jerk chicken medium sized lunch, and I asked for the hot sauce which was really good. Highly recommended

The food here is absolutely delicious and the service is incredible! This was my first time here, I got the medium jerk chicken with rice and peas + pasta salad with Oxtail gravy. This was a great value and the container was packed with food. The owner was super nice! Highly recommended this hidden gem. I will definitely be coming back for more.

The restaurant is a small PlasssßThe food is fantastic. I love the way they make the side veggies. It gets quite busy during lunch. I’ve had to leave without ordering because I didn’t have time to wait.

I visited Hopeton while I was away for work. I wanted some real authentic Jamaican food. With the ratings so high I was excited to try their food. I purchased oxatil with rice and peas. Honestly the flavoring was good my biggest disappointment was the amount of fat on the oxtail. Overall I will be back to try something else when I'm in the area because it did taste good.

My mind is blown. I just randomly searched on Google and found this place and I'm so glad I did. One of the best oxtail and curry goats dishes I've ever had. Just tucked away behind YYZ Pearsons. I flew in from Vancouver and there is limited selection when it comes to Caribbean/ Jamaican foods there. The sauce from the oxtail is heavenly and pairs so well with some rice & beans. Oxtail itself is super tender and succulent. The curry goat taste very fresh and has no hint of any gaminess whatsoever. The BBQ chicken was very moist and got a nice smokey flavor to it . Portions are decently big and prices are very fair compared to some shops on Eglinton Street, York. If you've just flown in like I did? Do ya self a favor, swing around back to Hopetons and grab a box o' good nyams. Jessum Peace ✌️ Big 👍 to the Chef! Will be back.

THE BEST IN THE GTA! This place is a true hidden gem and I am so sad for anyone who has not yet been blessed by the flavors presented in this restaurant. The freshness and the portions are so good! Jerk Chicken out of this world. They sell banana fritters... and I'm addicted to the steamed veggies... 12/10

I used to work around the area and i have found this amazing place! Been missing their amazing food thats why i decided to grab some large jerk chicken togo! Here it is i plated it at home and everything is perfect! Would you look at that! It’s definitely a hidden gem(understatement) hopefuly more people could try their amazing jerk chicken! Ps: would also recommend their oxtail its super firee bro

Been going here for years and it's hands down the best Caribbean food I've ever had and I've gone to some of the most well known ones in the GTA, PLUS it's very affordable AND large portions. In addition, the owner is so amazingly friendly, he brings a smile to my face. 3 years ago in the cold, he gave me a complimentary hot cocoa and I'll never forget that! I wish more people knew about this place as it's hidden gem within all the warehouses. I hope their business gets more recognition. I rarely get emotional but this business deserves so much! Don't stop being awesome! ❤️
