Great service with tasty food (I got Mac & Cheese with honey garlic chicken + drink + brisket) for about $27. Food is made fresh so it takes a little to be served. The atmosphere was good and it was decently packed for a Sunday afternoon so plan accordingly :)

This is a hidden gem I would definitely recommend this spot to friends and family. Food is on point I will definitely go back thanks for the amazing service and food! If you’re in a hurry order online. Food will take a few minutes but well worth the wait.

First time here and first time trying cornbread and it’s very delicious! So moist, lightly sweet and a bit chewy. The wings were good, lots of sauce, lots of flavour. Didn’t really like the coleslaw (too sweet and wet in my opinion), but that’s not why I gave 4 stars. Removed one star because it was a bit dirty inside. Maybe I just got there at the wrong time. Several tables had food stains and the whole place inside felt “sticky” for the lack of a better word. But if you choose takeout, it’s all great, the food was amazing in my opinion and I would definitely order again. The young man working there was very polite and friendly!

Came here on a Friday to dine in. Food took around 45 minutes to come out which is a long time. I got a fried chicken sandwich platter with Cajun shrimp and mac n cheese totalling out to $27. For $27 - it wasn’t that much food. The fried chicken sandwich was alright - overall very overly sweet which I wasn’t a super fan of. Needed heat to balance it for sure. The Cajun shrimp was a bit dry and also was mid. The mac n cheese was also just alright. With a more limited menu, bit of a higher price point and long wait time the food has to be amazing to justify it. I tried the cornbread separately and that was good and the seating area was nice for dine in. Overall the food was decent but I wouldn’t be back again.

Today was the second time I’ve had Honey’s Soul Food, and this time was rather disappointing in comparison to the first time I had it. The wings were good but the Mac and cheese I’m at a loss for words. I’m not big on Mac and cheese but the first time I had this I loved it and knew I’d order this again but this time the presentation was quite different, and the taste of the Mac and cheese tasted funny, maybe there was a different chef cooking the food today, I don’t know but regardless this wasn’t worth my $25.

The taste of everything was ahmazing! My husband ordered the fried chicken and fries, and I got the Cajun shrimp with Mac and cheese. Each order came with sweet potatoes and a corn bread and drink. The combos were generous and reasonably priced. I do find it worth every cent. You get what you pay for! 💯 Let me get right to it, the cornbread is everything! It's not just a hype so I ordered a few to bring home. It was 3 for $5 which I find really good price. Can't wait to be back and my kids are already asking to come here for their birthday later this month. 😅

I went here twice to make sure I'm not reviewing it based on one visit alone. I really wanted to like the place because it's not often you'll find a soul food spot anywhere in the vicinity of Mississauga. First visit, I ordered to go. I got chicken wings (8 pcs -they were out of fried chicken) and a generous portion of mac n cheese with cornbread and coleslaw for a whopping 30$ (with tax and tip) The chicken wings were okay, nothing to rave about and had better at wing shops. Mac and cheese had some cheese pull going, but it had started to break apart and become lumpy and gritty. I'm not sure if it was meant to be like that. Overall, 3/5 will give it another try. Second visit, I dined in. I got the fried chicken with the side of mac n cheese (again) to see if I got a bad batch the last visit. Nope, still lumpy, not cheesy, sweet, and spicy mac n cheese. The chicken was fresh off the fryer, but that was where the good things ended... I'm pretty sure my fried chicken was burnt. The batter tasted burnt. The actual chicken meat did not taste like anything, and it was SUPER oily (in a bad way). I used all the napkins they provided me. I love fried chicken, but this left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm pretty sure my fried chicken that I make tastes better than this, and I don't make good fried chicken... Again, I paid 30$ for 3 pieces of burnt fried chicken thighs, gloopy and gritty mac n cheese, and regular smegular coleslaw. I really hope I just visited on bad days, but there were barely any people when I went there. Honestly, it's not worth the price.

I visited Honey Soul Food in person for the first time on July 23rd, and I fell in love! The food was absolutely delicious and staff were great! Ever since then, I told my coworkers about this place, and we place orders on Uber Eats almost every Tuesday!
