No idea how this place isn't 4+ rating. Legit some of the best BBQ in town. People mention price but you get 2 meals for $22... Edit: unfortunately the second time I ordered it was not as good, not even close. Sausage super dry, baked beans weren't as flavourful, no extra sauces provided like the first time. Less and drier meat. If they can keep up the consistency of the first time I went, this place would be amazing.

The server was really busy with a large group but she acknowledged me right away and said she’d be right with me. When she came back I was ready to order. My drink came out right away and then the food took like 5 minutes. Such a fun little spot and great service.

This is the total opposite of the Queen St location. QS is one the best BBQ in the city and this location is the worst BBQ I have tried. All you taste is tough salty meat, no other flavours in the meat other than way too much salt (whereas QS BBQ is very flavourful). Also quite small portions (i had to get another small meal elsewhere after eating this one - hogfather and SP fries). Overall i would def never go back.

A bit expensive but delicious food. COVID 2-4 platter comes with tons of different meats and sides: brisket and ribs were delicious. Very friendly and helpful service. Amazing home-made BBQ sauces! They let me take some home in takeout cups. Stuffed bacon-wrapped jalapeno peppers were very good but pricey (4 for $18 if I recall).

Been ordering this place 2-3 times a week. The brisket is hit or miss. When it’s good it’s amazing when it’s bad you need a couple of glasses of water to wash it down. Called finally to let them know after my $60 order I was unhappy. Just as I anticipated the staff really didn’t care but thanked me for the feedback. Just the same old next and move on place.

Ordered a few different things from delivery and they were all tasty. My favourites were the brisket, the ribs, and the potato salad! Delicious and will order again, maybe try pickup next time on a day with good weather :)

The fried chicken sandwich and wings were extremely salty. They were almost inedible. I felt like I could barely taste the meat itself through the salt. The sausage and fries were fine but everything was overpowered by the salt from the chicken items. It pretty much ruined my appetite and the salt stayed in my mouth for long that I needed to find something else to eat to rid of the taste of it. My friend and I could barely get through the meal.

It's sad to see Bacon Nation leave the Kensington area along with other small businesses. However, a great BBQ restaurant is slated to take over. I can't wait for Hogtown Smoke to arrive. Looking forward to it!
