We have been a few times and the food never disappoints. Lots of flavour and great portion size. We have also been on Friday for karaoke - we had a blast!

Dining in and ordering out are two different experiences. Dining in, they are efficient. Dining out and ordering on the phone, I wouldn’t suggest it. The person taking the order was rude, rushed and has no customer service training. Y’all should know that many walks of life call your establishment and you don’t know who you could speaking to on the other end. People can make or break an establishment especially by way of social media followings. You have a good Caribbean Restaurant going, please have your staff brush up on their telephone manners. Can’t go into all the details but please take this advice.

This hidden gem in ajax is amazing. The food is A++ and the service is top notch. A fusion of Caribbean with Asian is mind blowing. Price for family of 4 just under 100. Can't say enough need to check this place out!

It's a Great looking place with probably the best music I have heard anywhere in a long time. The problem was service, it was so slow I couldn't believe it! On top of that the alcohol we wanted was somehow out of stock, we asked our waiter for a drink, she went away for almost 35 mins just to come back and say it was out of stock, this happened 3 times before I walked with her to the register and looked though everything myself with her there. This place has so much potential, and I would be a regular if they were to get better management and staff. The dj was so good I would actually give it a second try. Hopefully, they will figure out the issues they have going on by then.

Good selection, large portions at competitive prices. Prompt service. The calamari, shrimp rolls, stir-fry beef and fried rice are some of our favorite dishes. A bit towards the oily side but delicious.

Hibiscus Pub & Lounge is the newest Caribbean restaurant in Durham Region, opened at the end of August. They're open late at night and even into the wee hours of the morning on weekends. I stopped in recently and had the General Tao Chicken from their weekday Lunch Specials menu. The flavour was very good, with a bit of spicy heat and just the right amount of sauce. At only $8.99, it was a pretty good deal and tasted great. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back to try more of their food!

Visited Hibiscus last week with a family member that was on a short trip to Toronto last week. Brought my kids with us. Service was great with good knowledge of the menu and provided good recommendations. Had some drinks and appetizers, everything was great, only problem we had was our eye was too big. We ate what we could with our drinks, kids enjoyed their fried rice! The place has great aesthetics and has a sports bar/family dining combination. We were comfortable in one of their booths on the dining side, a bit away from the bar. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good family dining experience or a few drinks.

Service was Excellent Nia was amazing!! Food was really flavourful, would just liked it a little hotter. Will be back!!
