Hibiki Japanese Cuisine

My family’s go-to Japanese spot — we come here for all special occasions. Sushi is the freshest and best quality I’ve had in GTA. Always consistent and never disappoints! 12/10 would recommend. Hokkaido uni is superb. Also, their desserts are house made and SO good!

Quality sushi in unionville that’s not too expensive with a diverse menu. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area. The lunch specials are extra nice.

Been here twice so far and both times were alright. Cash is a better option to go with, and they serve a nice dessert comped. I rmb not liking the beef tataki, I think it was the texture that felt rough or thick. The foie gras was rly smooth and I'm very picky with my foie gras texture. We ordered chawanmushi that came after we ate everything but its normal that it does take longer, just odd that it's still supposed to be an appetizer.. service relatively attentive

Hibiki is a local popular Japanese restaurant. Their menu covers a wide variety, including sashimi, don, skewers, sushi, ramen, and some specialty. In general, the quality of the food is good and fishes are always fresh. It is a good choice for a decent sushi meal.

Lovely establishment with fresh fish and generous portions. The steamed egg was so silky! They had a ton of seating options, ranging from square and round booths to tables. The servers knew how to put on a show for the table for certain dishes that had some added flair. The place is well ventilated and is great for large and small gatherings. Would definitely recommend a try!

Randomly decided to try Hibiki without knowing anything about it. The restaurant was really busy which is always a good sign. The prices are definitely a bit higher - you will be spending at least $30-40 per person. The green tea was very nice and served in a nice little teapot. We ordered the Sake don (basically salmon don) and the gyu-don (beef). The Salmon don was actually very good, with a pretty good portion size and delicious fresh tasting fish. The gyu don on the other hand was a bit average. Service was very good. They even served a nice complimentary matcha pudding with red bean. Atmosphere was nice, though unfortunately when we were there, there was a table right next to us with a loud person talking non stop.

The atmosphere and service were both pleasant, variety options from the menu. The pricing was higher than expected. The Spider Maki Roll for 5 pieces at $17 didn't meet expectations unfortunately, while the 18-piece Sashimi was beautifully presented with generous cuts.

Great dinner with the husby for date night. Large selection on the menu and just about everything we had ordered was pretty tasty. It’s a family friendly environment and would come back with the kids as there are kid-friendly options as well. The lobster tempura platter was delicious and so was the ramen. Food came out in a decent amount of time. We would recommend it here if you’re looking for fresh sushi and great Japanese food.
