Herongate Barn Restaurant and Show

It is nice to see this place is up and running again!! The food was good and the staff was friendly. Went to a murder mystery event and it was entertaining. They just need to fix a few things. Parking lot needs lighting. It's pitch black and kind of unsafe. They should light up the sign at the front when you enter too. When driving at night you will easily miss it if you are not familiar with the area. I would reccomend a spot light on the wooden sign near the road. It was incredibly cold inside the restaurant. I am not sure if the heat was broken, but the majority of the restaurant wore winter jackets while eating. The last thing was when you go up for your buffet the line is crazy long, and u are trying to sit and enjoy your dinner but you have a train of people at your back in and around tables when you are trying to eat. I would strongly reccomend only calling tables by number a few at a time. These are all simple things that can be fixed, and I do reccomend you try this restaurant out, especially the muskoka murder mystery. It was alot of fun with friendly staff and good food. I would try it again for a show event, but hopefully they can improve some of these things.

Attended the Santa brunch. The Santa magical show was good and entertaining. The kids enjoyed it very much and recieved a gift bag. We were able to take pics with santa. They had a good selection of food that we all enjoyed and even my picky kids found food that appealed to them. I loved that they even had a good selection of deserts with coffee. Looking forward to the many other events they host . They do have a beautiful outdoor space as well.

Just had a delicious lunch at Herongate Barn. You must try the pasta, it was wonderful! The owner Amy and wait staff were very friendly and welcoming! I will definitely be back. They are now offering things, like Paint night, Line Dancing, a kids Breakfast with Santa. Must try you won't be disappointed!

Great restaurant in pickering with barn vibes. Accomadeted a birthday party on a short notice. We were able to get a buffet style dinner where they even went out of the way to make specific items requested like ribs. Their Mac and cheese balls were a hit with the little ones where it disappeared infront of our eyes before the adults even got to it. Their jerk chicken pasta was another hit and left me craving for more when I reached home. The salmon was also nicely done. They even had a small party room upstairs where they let us use to conduct our family games. Looking forward to hosting next year's bday party in their green space next year. Thank-you for allowing us to host the b-day party. All the food we got we flavourful full and with a generous amount of food.

Found this place while hiking Seaton trail. Super good. We have the Mac and cheese balls and hamburger and fries. Great coffee. New owners they clearly know their food. Soon to start up dinner theatre. Highly recommended and will be back soon.

Vintage Barn Vibes I visited Herongate Barn Restaurant for their soft lauch and had an amazing dining experience. As soon as you enter you get the cozy vintage barn vibes, which I absolutely loved! I ordered the mac and cheese balls and jerk chicken pasta, which was so good! I could eat the Mac and cheese balls for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also, their portions are very generous at an awesome price. Whether, it's date night or a girls/guys night out, you should check out Herongate Barn Restaurant!! I will be going back soon :)

A Delightful Experience at Herongate Barn I had the pleasure of visiting Herongate Barn this past weekend for their soft opening, and it was an absolute treat! I indulged in their scrumptious Barn Burger paired with a side of fiesta fries, and both were simply mouthwatering. The burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor, while the fries added the perfect kick with their seasoning. The ambiance of the barn was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. And let’s not forget the spectacular view—it truly added to the charm of the whole experience, creating a serene backdrop as we enjoyed our meal. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or looking for a place to unwind with friends, I highly recommend Herongate Barn for its delicious food, fantastic atmosphere, and stunning surroundings. Food is fantastic especially the spicy jerk pasta which was freshly made and it was more than enough for 2. Service was exceptional. Mac and cheese balls and the calamari were divine. Hope to try out the other stuff on the menu soon. The washrooms were very clean which is a must.
