I've been on a fish 'n' chips hunt in the GTA. Heritage doesn't show up on any of the usual lists at all. I found this place while on the hunt from a successful home sense jaunt in Oakville. It's a very British decor and the solo lady working at the end of a Sunday was really efficient and friendly. The haddock was delicious and the batter very light and there wasn't any hint of oil in my food. This suggests that they change the oil frequently and don't "stretch" it out, especially at the end of the day. The Onion rings were delicious but the hallmark were the battered pickles. Très delicious! I dipped them into a cup of curry sauce which was quite flavourful and not bland like many other equivalent ones. I was very impressed and will return here again.

Really friendly service! They have really good and affordable lunch specials with generous portion sizes. Loved that I found this place. Definitely coming here more often on my lunch breaks whenever Im craving fish and chips.

The gravy was delicious!! The poutine had a large portion of cheese and gravy that was complimented well with thick and delicious fries. The fish was not at all greasy and had great flakiness. It doesn’t feel heavy when you are finished with the meal. The atmosphere is quaint and the decor is very cute with the pictures and items about and from England 💜

Went there on the 30 th of October’24 at 7 10 pm as there was an all day special menu Went through the worst experience Upon asking the person at the counter if I could replace chips with salad the woman looked irritated and look at the menu above I saw the menu and couldn’t see so asked her the same question This time she was super rude and said again to look at the menu Of course I actually wanted to walk out cause of her extremely rude behaviour but my spouse intervened and ordered ,however do not want this humiliation and embarrassment again so will never go here again For the fish there was no lemons but not a big deal The experience itself was so so bad that I would never want to go there again Though I like Heritage fish n chips but definitely not this one

I can’t believe I just discovered this location it’s been around for 6 years apparently lol. Anyways Melina makes the fish to perfection. The location is clean and perfect for a quick meal. We had the haddock, halibut, chips and green salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and super soft and moist inside. Highly recommend this location.

The lunch special is really good. The fish is fresh and crispy. The portion of fish is right. I tried the poutine which I think it is good too but the portion is a bit of too much and was not hot enough. The sweet potato fries are also great! We also ordered the clam chowder soup. The soup tasted ok but it is too thick and was not hot enough. Overall experience is still good.
