Heritage Fish & Chips

Maybe on the weekend the regular cooking staff are not there ? My Halibut had a mushy, white paste between the Fish and Breading, almost like toothpaste, which was pretty off-putting Thank.goodness the fries were good. The White / Mealy pudding was made inhouse, which I commend them for trying. However it was too heavy on the oatmeal so it ended up more like a breakfast snack. The service was fantastic, all the waitresses were top shelf ! The men's washroom was a wee issue, with the urinal out of order and a dude smoking in the stall.... Effectively making it out of bounds...

We ordered via Uber and chose the BOGO option. The fish portions were huge! It was a lot of food. We had to reheat them because the batter is already dry.; not the restaurant's fault but more of the delivery service. The fish was very tasty. I am not a fan of stout fries but my MIL said that their fries lacked salt. One dish I truly recommend in their menu is the Seafood Pasta. it is so addicting. Yes, it is pricey. I am not sure if it is worth the price but I will definitely buy it again. Salad is good. The croutons and the lettuce are crunchy. There is a lot on their menu; I would probably try the others next time. Very good meal.

The fish & chips are so good! Originally, I wanted to try the black pudding, but it was sold out. Still, everything else was amazing. The breading is so good and the fish is delicious!

We had some delicious fish and chips at this restaurant. I ordered the Orange Roughy with sweet potato fries (half order only) and my family got the Haddock with potato fritters. Everything was fresh and tasty. The portions are huge (as usual I doggie bagged 1/2 the fish). They also have some interesting chocolates from England at very reasonable prices. I enjoyed my trip here. Our server was very nice and friendly.

I love heritage fish and chips! I used to always get my fish and chips to go, but lately I’ve been sitting down and enjoying the food. I always get the haddock with chips and a Greek salad and gravy on the side to dip the fries on. I had ordered a poutine once (as pictured), but I didn’t like the cheese curds that were used .. so I’ll stick to the regular just dipping my fries in the gravy. The staff here and also very nice and attentive! Definitely the spot if you want fish and chips in Brampton.

I love their Fisherman's Platter, the fish, shrimps and scallops was amazing. Perfectly battered and deep fried. Having been to Las Vegas and trying Gordon Ramsay's Fish & Chips. Heritage wins hands down!!! I just wanted to point out how amazing Heritage is.

Still the best fish and chips restaurant. Period. The batter coating is fried to perfection. The meat is plentiful. Salads are fresh. Fries are good. The staff are super friendly especially the owner's son. If you haven't tried this place yet, I highly recommend that you do.
