Absolutely delicious traditional Polish breakfast. My kids loved everything, they said it was the best breakfast they have ever had.

Really homie little Polish diner style restaurant. Very warm and welcoming staff. Came in for a quick little coffee and a breakfast. Had their riff of a full breakfast. Everything was delicious especially the traditional potato pancakes which were out of this world. I definitely plan on going back to try some of their traditional Polish lunch items like cabbage rolls and pierogies.

Hastings is our favourite polish food in the city. It’s a cozy neighbourhood little restaurant with delicious home made food. Our favourite is the hungry tata’s lunch and the doughnuts that they serve on weekends but can’t go wrong with any of it!

Hastings Snack Bar is an excellent little restaurant off Queen Street in Leslieville. It's something of a hybrid between a diner and a Polish restaurant. There aren't too many good Polish restaurants in Toronto, so it was a pleasure to try this place out. The breakfast is delicious, served with eggs, homemade sausage, bacon, potato pancakes, seasoned tomatoes and cucumbers, and buttered bread. Everything was really tasty, with the sausage and eggs being personal highlights. My partner also had pierogis which she said were really outstanding. This is a great spot, come by and bring an appetite!

Hastings Snack Bar is located just off Queen with a side entrance into a cozy restaurant with countertop seating for maybe 14 people. We’ve tried to visit before but were met with a long line. But today we were lucky. Being Eastern European background I had to try Tata’s lunch which is a mix of pirogies, cabbage roll, kielbasa, sauerkraut and pickles. Everything was made in house and fresh, truly homemade cooking, nothing was wrong. I’m sure the breakfast and other items are of similar quality. You won’t be disappointed for lunch, unless you can’t get in!

I almost don't want to write this review because I want to gatekeep this place from everyone and enjoy it all to myself. Sit at the counter and enjoy the feeling of sitting at home with family; truly the coziest spot to sit with a morning cup of coffee. Amazing, attentive and truly genuine service that cannot be beat. I enjoyed the polish breakfast and my companion had cabbage roll and pierogies. We got 2 donuts to go, plum and custard. This was not enough donuts. I could eat 20 of them. run, don't walk. but save me a spot.

So glad I found this place. Quaint Mom & Pop Shop. Absolutely love it. Authentic Polish food. Had the breakfast plate and can't wait to go for the lunch/dinner one. Will definitely repeat.

Amazing little place serving hearty polish comfort food. Run by a Polish mom and pop who do all the cooking. Great breakfast sandwiches. The Hungry Tata breakfast is huge. The perogies are all handmade and delicious. I didn’t get a chance to sample the cabbage rolls (also made in house) but the person beside us really enjoyed it. Friendly service. Get there early, they only have 14 seats at the counter.
