Worth every penny. Probably one of the best (and most authentic) regional Chinese food out there. Very rare to see anything from the northern parts of China represented well in the GTA. And although I'm not from the North, it's still an amazing experience. The chef is extremely skilled. Not a lot of people can pull off the pulled sugar dessert without it turning into hard clumps. Not a single bad dish in general.

This place is good! China ambiance. Food serving is big for the hot pot. I liked the way it's cooked on your own table. All the food we ordered was really delicious. We were family of three, so there's no way we could finish the hot pot. Good thing, you could take it home for whatever left over on your table. They have complimentary dessert---ice cream! Love it! Definitely we will come back with friends in the future.

The restaurant is quite unique with the stew and corn flour pancake. The food is very flavourful. However, it is best to come with a large group to order more variety. The portions are pretty big and include a complimentary dessert (ice cream or popsicle). Price is on the higher side, but offers a slightly better service and atmosphere in comparison to regular Chinese restaurants. They also have special signs and songs that they play for birthday celebrations. The restaurant is packed, so it's recommended to make a reservation at least a week in advance.

Nice service once you get a table. Very quick and waiters checking with guess on their order time .You can register in a waitlist, and they text you once tables open up. Food was overdo with flavor, too many condiments for our taste. If you don't have a table reservation, waiting time can be longgg, we arrived at 6:45pm and waited to be seated past 8pm. They have 12% discount if the waiting time is for more than 1h,which is fear .Sometimes tables were empty for a long time, but they would not call us.Only cash or debit card as payment. We didn't try the specialty of the house. Shrimp fried rice was good, and cumin lamb and octopus were very over do with condiments. They offered a small plate and free water melon as appetizer.Free mini ice cream cone at the end of the meal.Nice decoration and washroom were fairly clean.

I recently visited The Happy Village, and it was a wonderful experience! The food here was fresh and delicious, especially the sweet potatoes. Yuki, made sure everything was perfect, and served us politely. If you're looking for great food in a cozy spot, The Happy Village is a must-try!

5/5. Beautiful decor, fantastic service, amazing and authentic Northern Chinese food. It is a long wait, suggest you put yourself on a waitlist at least 30 minutes to 1 hour ahead of when you want to eat especially for dinner. Everything we tried were absolutely delicious, fairly priced and served quickly. Aprons are available if you need it. One of the best sweet and sour pork (F1) I’ve tried to date. Dessert is provided at end where you can choose either ice cream or popsicle for free. Our table felt slightly crammed due to all the food we ordered as the pot takes up quite a bit of space, but the seating itself was very comfortable.

Most delicious and flavourful north eastern Chinese food served in large portions. Bring an appetite and some friends. On the center of the table is a hot pot cooker/steamer that will cook your main course as well as homemade corn buns. Severe course, without exception was a unique flavourful experience. Don't expect an extravagant restaurant design it's clean, and kind of kichy by truly has a homemade kitchen feel. I look forward to going back with my friends.

Pretty authentic dongbei Chinese food! Very popular as well so try to make a reservation in advance. Good food to share and felt homey. I actually enjoyed the non pot food the most - the Liang pi, dough sticks, and fried pork. All in all a fun time!
